My Garmin Fenix 5 is my primary fitness device. Does my Edge 520 bike computer count ?

1hr on the bike trainer. Including a rather intense (HR Zone 4/5) 40min race on Zwift. Still have a swim/run Brick workout to do this evening!
-
+1 for Zwift. I think Peleton bikes are over priced. You can get a really good smart trainer and a good road bike for the cost of the Peleton bike. I bought myself a Wahoo Kickr Core for Christmas for under $750

I have 2 bikes. A 2018 Trek Domane road bike and a 2019 Trek Marlin Mountain Bike
-
I use a $150 Ascent dumb trainer with my road bike and a Zwift subscription.

I have the Jaybird x2 headphones. I really like them. Good sound and the stay put

On my Vivoactive HR, I use the Line Watchface. When I am in the mood to "dress it up a bit, I use the Garmin Modern Analog face.

I was thinking new as I'd like to get a bike with the mostly up to date components (integrated brake shifters, etc) rather than replacing any. I'm also not exactly sure what size bike I'd need to get. What about Fuji bikes?
-
Thanks for the input. I've looked online at bikes, but I really would rather buy at a local shop so that I can have it set up correctly for me.
-
I have look through Craigslist for my bike, and have looked used. I think I'm more interested in getting a new bike so that I can set it up exactly how I want.
-
I wish you lots of luck. Go in calm and confident!

The funny part is that I had it on my stationary trainer because the brakes were broken and needed fixing. I had been waiting to get them fixed, but had not had the time.
-
I'm super pissed off right now because some idiot stole my road bike out of my garage this weekend!
-
Keep it up!

When I have an intense cardio workout day, I'll routinely burn 700+ calories, so I usually try to eat back 85-90% of the calories I burned. I know that if I didn't I'd be left with a lot of calories at the end of the day and would feel starving. The 10-15% wiggle room helps with any calorie count inconsistencies.

I'm at 65 miles for the year, 120 seems like it is totally doable

I recently had to stop due to issues with Achilles Tendonitis. I pretty much stopped running for 4 months. I just upped my swimming and biking. After giving my ankle time to heal, I'm slowly adding running back in to my cardio rotation and feeling pretty good. I didn't lose too much speed or endurance.

I usually drink between 2 and 3 cups of coffee a day. I find that if I drink too much, I start to get jittery and not feel great.
-
Great job! -- I just topped 60 miles for the year last night.

53 miles in for the year

I put in 2 miles last night. 44 miles for the year

Upping my goal to 120 miles for the year

I've had my Vivoactive HR for almost a year now and have not had more than minor issues. Sounds like you have a faulty unit.

I swim as part of triathlon training as well. Love getting in the pool and doing lap after lap after lap.
