sure i'll join you - I'm not sure what I'm at - I'd have to go back and add it up0

7.74 miles for me so far this year. Sweet, I never thought to track my swims. It looks so much more impressive in yards1

11.29 miles so far. Yay! I'm in double digits0

Yes! I'm new to swimming but just started in March this year. At first I couldn't swim more than 3 25 yards before resting. Right now I'm swimming 1/2 mile a day in 30 mins and kinda stuck there. But I'm swimming 5-6 days a week. I am happy to have found an exercise I enjoy at last.4

15.11 miles so far.1

90.72

I'm at 65 miles for the year, 120 seems like it is totally doable1

Just checked my totals for the year. At 29.1 so far this year. Will see how close I can get.0

I started swimming at the beginning of May. I am swimming for 30 minutes, 3 times per week. My first session I could barely make 500m. On Monday I finally did 850m. I have swam 5.4 miles total so far. 100 miles is definitely out of the question, but my goal is to be able to swim 1000m in 30 minutes.2

I find that I can swim 26 lengths (800 mtr) in 26mins but have levelled out and don't move faster. Yours is a good way to increase as its 6 extra lengths in four mins. I'll have to get a shift on.0

15m or 30m pool (which is a really odd length)??
for me - getting faster = doing drill sets/sprint sets (so do 1lap as fast as possible, then 10 sec rest and 10lap as fast as possible) or similar0 -
I'm up to 117 miles so far this year. 1,55miles four times a week and a week of 1,55miles every day.1

97.44 miles - so close!0

I'm up to 20.16 miles so far.........yay!2

I haven't kept track, but thanks for the idea of a goal for myself. I have to up my time in the pool, I signed up for a 1.2 mile open water swim in August. If it was a pool, no problem...open water scares me.1

I did an open water swim last Friday and I'm so congested that I might miss out on my swims this week:( Oh well. I'm signed up for an open water swim in August too! followed by a bike and run! Woohoo!2

I usually do an open water swim triathlon in August, but the swim is my favorite part and the shortest...so I thought I would try to do a long swim instead. Hopefully I don't regret it.0 -
Sorry, my tri is in Augusta...lol. I am so nervous about it I saw (and typed) August but thought it was Augusta.
I'm up to 22.53 miles now. I'm moving up to 3 swims a week this week so maybe my totals will get better.0 -
106.41

have you seen the ads for ISOman? basically its a triathlon where all the legs should take roughly the same amount of time - they are trying to bring to the US next year
its a 7mile swim, 90mile bike and marathon (I'd have to double check distances) - one of the prizes is to the person who had the most equal for each of the three legs1
