Can you post a pic?

I have a blendtec blender that I use to make green smoothies. (kale/spinach, frozen fruit, carrots, yogurt, banana, orange and water) Unless you specifically want juice, you might want to look into a high end blender. I added more water to my smoothie today and it's basically a green juice now. Green smoothies are much…

You look great! Good job :)

I don't limit my fruit at all.

Don't be discouraged. My boobs are the last to go. I WISH they were the first. I'm dragging around a couple of DDs right now and would love to be back into a C cup.

You look great! Congrats!

I normally get the Salmon when I go there.

Yes, it's enough. The more you work out, the better you will feel. Then you will WANT to do more.

My sweet tooth normally kicks in at night, after dinner. A fruit smoothie satisfies it. It's just frozen fruit, a banana and water. If I want to get really crazy, I use orange juice instead of water, but that ups the calories big time.

Add the carrots and spinach to a fruit smoothie to make it a Green Smoothie. I drink one every morning. Frozen fruit Banana Spinach 4 baby carrots (if I have some) Water

Home DVDS. Or walk/run with the kids in a double stroller.

I've had the same thoughts.

I've tried something new and it seems to be working. Frozen mixed vegetables and a protein (usually leftover meat from the previous nights dinner). I put the frozen vegetables in a tupperware dish the night before, add spices and shake it up. The next morning, I put the dish in my lunch bag with a freezer pack thingy. By…

I have a HRM watch and I do not like it. It's more than just tapping it to get a reading. On mine, I have to hold my finger on it for about 5 seconds. Not easy to do when you are in mid workout. I took it to my aerobics class, held my finger on it and it wouldn't even start to check the reading. I don't have the…

I would not have allowed myself to stop working out, then start again, then stop, then start over and over again.

No, I have a blendtec. Before I bought my Blendtec, I used a regular blender for about a month. The trick with a regular blender is to blend the greens first with juice/milk/water. Blend until u have green juice, then add the fresh/frozen fruit. U are going to have to stop a lot and stir the smoothie until its well…

I don't see any sort of belly on the girl on the left. I think you're being too hard on yourself.

I'm in the same boat. I drink a lot of smoothies and fruit is a big part of them. I also eat fruit for my snacks. My husband lost a lot of weight last year by basically just eating fruits and vegetables. He ate a lot of fruit but also lost a lot of weight. Right now, i'm just ignoring the fruit sugar and limiting all other…

Why is that, Jesse? I've considered cutting out my coffee but, having young kids, I don't get a full nights sleep and need the stimulant. I haven't read of any benefits to cutting it out that trumps my need for it.

I'm 5'10" and my goal weight is 165. I look good and healthy at that weight. Once I get there, I will see if it is maintainable.

Excellent post! I am also 5'10" and broad. My goal is to be a size 12. If I were to get down to single digit sizes, I would look skeletal. I don't even think it's possible, to be honest. I will never be Elfin but I will be slim and strong. This reminds me of an episode of Buffy the Vampire where Buffy's ex comes back to…

Thanks Nettie, I would love that!

It's funny that I found this post because my main goal is to get to my Military weight. I left the Air Force after 7 years and promptly gained 20 pounds. I had a baby a year ago and that didn't help my waistline one bit. I've lost all of my baby weight and am back to those pesky civilian pounds. My goal is to workout 6…
