I weighed last night: 187 This is a 2 pound gain, actually. But with Christmas, New Year's and the death of my step-dad since my last weigh in, I think I can handle a measly two pounds. Onward and DOWNward!

Thanks OC, my A1C was 5.5 at my October check. I can't wait for the one in a couple weeks! It's so nice to look forward to going to the dr. for a change!

I usually weigh in on Thursday, but I can report it on Fridays. I weigh at my in-law's house and I'm always there on Thursday afternoon, so that's the main reason.

I didn't want to desert you guys but my ankle has gotten the best of me. I thought if I did the recumbent bike, I could manage some exercise, but even that hurts my ankle too badly. My results for the week: 260 weeks 2761 calories I met or exceeded my water every day but one. Not quite to the goal, but WAY better than I've been doing AND I pushed myself soooo hard. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job to everyone else who PUSHED this week!

50 minutes on stationary bike. And drank another 16 oz. of water while I did it! That's 101 minutes of cardio so far this week. Yay!

Looks like everyone is doing AWESOME!!!! Day one, I got in my water! Also, did 51 minutes on bike. Day two, water is in and I'm still drinking. No workout yet. That doesn't happen until my little guy goes to bed....

Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds. I highly recommend them. She has tons of videos, so it might be a good idea to check a few out from your local library and decide what you like. They vary from 15 minute one mile workouts to 5 mile workouts. They are low impact so very good if you have a lot of weight to lose like I do.…

Most doctors don't have a whole lot of nutrition education. I'm not saying that is the case for your dr., just for most doctors.

Sometimes I just try to find somethign comparable in the data-base if I'm not sure. I always try to OVER-estimate a little, though.
