  • As a parent of a five-year-old, I would hope the person would censor him or herself...
  • No change from last week. I was at my mom's over the weekend, though. That never helps...
  • I'm sitting here with a mcdonald's breakfast AND a diet coke because I'm givnig up mcdonald's breakfasts for lent (and homefully forever (for the most part)! So, after today, no diet coke for 40 days and no mcdonald's breakfasts. I'd already given up the diet cokes so that won't be hard. I just wanted the treat this…
  • I havne't weighed yet, and am leaving town this afternoon so not sure when I will get to weigh in (I always use the scale at my in-law's for my "official" weigh in). Not many workouts got done this week. The cold I've had has kicked my butt. My shin is finally not hurting so badly, though, so I hope to run at my mom's in…
  • Oops. Make that Supreme 90!
  • I just bought Power 90 at Walmart for $20. It's kind of a like a less expensive version of P90X (easier too, I believe, though still tough!).
  • Up. I"ve been sick so I"m hoping that's why. Practically no exercise since last Sunday. I am hoping I feel up to the gym today.
  • Thanks for the prayers! I got through yesterday (even had to eat fast foor for dinner and got a water!). Today, I'm not missing it as bad. I'm hoping after a few days, it won't be an issue. I keep telling myself how much money I'll save!
  • Well, it's Wednesday. Better late than never? My goal for TODAY is to go without coke zero (Yikes!!!). We shall see how it goes and then I'll aim for tomorrow...
  • I lost a pound this week. It's getting harder and harder to lose. I feel like I'm literally chiseling it off at this point. With that said, my clothes are getting bigger and bigger so I think things are tightening up at any rate. I know I need to kick the coke zero habit. Any suggestions? I am not a coffee drinker. I love…
  • I cna't wait to hear how the 1/2 marathon goes!
  • Hang in there!
  • Yay for you!!!!!!!!!! And just as a side note: our CW is the same ;-). I don't know about you, but I feel like it's taken longer to get to the 170s than any other number I've aimed for!
  • 1. Done! 2. I did better but could still improve. 3. I got at least four in every day. I'm trying to eat more fruit. It's hard because of my diabetes. Fruit makes my sugar go up faster than anything. I've been eating clementines and relaly small fuji apples and those seem to be ok for me. Veggies are usually not a prob lem…
  • Can you explain this theory to me, I still don't get it, eat more and you will lose? I am sure some on our team would love the theory on this. Enjoy the Day! [/quote] I have no idea why it works! But with that said, it seems to. I think anything we do to make sure our body isn't in a rut helps. I'm not eating any more than…
  • Yay, you! That's awesome! I lost another pound this week, which makes a total of three so far during this challenge. Upping my calories seemed to do the trick. I think having a higher allotment but NOT eating most of my exercise calories is what is going to work for me. That way, I eat about the same amount each day. I…
  • Got day 2 of w6 c25k done last night and it was HARD! I did it, though.
  • Wowzers! I weighed last night. Another pound down, which makes a total of three. There's a possibility it will be more by Friday but I seriously doubt it.
  • Ugh, so far only one day of c25k done, plus one day on elliptical. I was just exhausted last night and went home and straight to bed after taking my son to HIS gym class and then having dinner. If I run today and either tomorrow or Saturday, I'll still get it in.
  • Keki, we are here for you!!!!!!! I hit a wall like that at about a 30 pound loss. It just seemed so overwhelming that I still had soooooooo far to go. At this point, I just try to focus on what I've done and the baby steps I can take to get where I want to be. Week six of c25k is my goal for the week. I upped my calories…
  • I stayed the same last week, but expected to since I had a two pound loss the week before. I fully expect a loss THIS week!!!!
  • Looks like everyone is doing great! I've done 2/3 days of week 5 c25k. I'll do the 3rd one this afternoon.
  • Week 3 mini goal: get week 5 of c25k in the bag! As for rewards: at 25 pounds, I got an elliptical; at 50 pounds I got a Roku for my bedroom. From here on out, I'm rewarding myself for every ten pounds, but I don't yet know what I want for my 60 pound reward.
  • Down from 186 to 184: I don't actually get on a computer daily, I usually post from my phone so that's why I'm late. This was last week's weigh in weight, though.
  • When I eat an apple, my blood sugar goes up. When I eat a candy bar, my blood sugar goes up. I'm diabetic, so I pay attention to these things. My body doesn't seem to know the difference between "good" sugar and "bad sugar," as far as my blood sugar is concerned. With that said, I watch my carb intake but don't worry if I…
  • The Hunger Games Series. It was so awesome, I may read it again. And I hardly EVER re-read books.
  • I will set a mini goal next week, I promise! good job, everyone!
