Hey Fitness Pals!
Part of our journey is the exercising and moving your body.
But another large part is what you eat, when you eat and how much.
So I wanted to start a thread for sharing and swapping recipes.
You can do one of two things:
- Share recipes you make at home.
- Ask for suggestions or recipes from the group.
So whether you are sharing something you love to cook or you are looking for a new way to make a creative dinner, this is out spot!

Recently, The Guy and I have been looking into healthier eating plans. We're starting to focus on less grains and flour.
I'm gathering recipes from Wheat Belly and Paleo diet sites. Today I made a Mug Muffin and it was a terrific breakfast! I was thoroughly impressed.
Flaxseed Mug Muffin
1/4 cup ground flax
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon sweetener I use Xylitol
1 egg
1 teaspoon butter (or less)
Directions
Stir it all up in a coffee mug, pop it in the microwave for 1 minute (a bit longer if adding berries etc.)
Today I made this and it was very tasty but a little dry. I added a fresh banana to it and that helped. I took no more than 2 minutes to mix and microwave. Very tasty, filling and dense. And so far no tummy issues!
