Wanted to add my 2 cents to the post. I was banded December 2009 and never got a fill till last week due to various financial, insurance, and employment issues. Gained 60+ pounds in the meantime. I'm now 5 days in to being filled and so far I definitely feel full on less food. It's nice to see this thing may actually work…

Thanks to everyone for reaching out and for your words of encouragement. Did it hurt? Just for a couple of days after surgery. Nothing a few pills couldn't fix! Why haven't I gotten it filled?
