I really think if people are going to get surgery, they should get the lap band before considering something like bypass that can be incredibly unhealthy and dangerous, and is irreversible.

I won't read any of these replies, sounds like it may get heated. I hate that all our foods contain these tremendously harmful chemicals. So before I ramble, FOE. Light is fine, but not "sugar free" because they contain these chemicals.

The best fruits to eat would be BERRIES. Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries. I wouldn't cut out fruit, but try changing which kinds you eat. Berries are total superfoods.

I used to fry mine in a pan with butter. Now I bake it in an oven dish lined with foil, then a piece of non-stick oven paper on top, put the fish on the non-stick paper, it cooks itself, all the oils come out of the fish and it cooks nice and soft. Dairy foods, and eggs contain cholesterol. But if you intend to cut these foods out, make sure to get the calcium and protein etc from other sources (which is surprisingly not difficult)

I only get them when I don't eat enough potassium. Eat Banana's, avocado's, sweet potatoes, sunflower seeds etc.

I would cut all wheat and almost all dairy. I'd ditch the laxatives too, that's a lot to take particularly when nothing is happening, your body gets dependent on them when you take so many. Your body may respond to different foods like try oats instead of bran which clearly isn't working. Definitely keep the water intake…

It seems the higher in fat they are the more addictive they are, the more money they make. Plus unhealthier/processed foods are cheaper to manufacture. It really sucks, I love to go out for meals but a lot of the time it isn't worth it to have a meal that has more calories than I should eat for the whole day.

They are great, you need to replace the good bacteria that antibiotics kill. I take them and also give them to my dogs. I take BioCeuticals UltraBiotic. It is much stronger than almost all of them. I also eat Jalna yoghurt which contains more than any other yoghurt as far as I know.

When my loss stops I make up a big pot of soup with broccoli, zucchini, carrot, sweet potato, onions, garlic, red lentils, chick peas, red kidney beans, I puree' it up and just eat that as much as I want all day, along with a lot of water. Gets my system going again.

They're so healthy, I add them to almost anything for fiber. You can add a smaller amount if you really don't like them and you won't taste them!
