Today's workout was amazing! I was drenched by the end. I was able to handle more repetitions of certain moves and I am WORN out! 25 days to go! :drinker:

Woohooooo! I took day four off because I was EXHAUSTED! Between this and school, I am a tired turkey! I might do it again later if I feel up to it but this time felt amazing! I was really able to do a few more of the ab exercises and modified push-ups! Way to go guys! 25 days to go! :noway:

Jillian Michaels' DVD's are amazing for building stamina. My strength is tenfold since beginning her DVD's; I prepared my body for a good, long Yosemite hike with those! :flowerforyou: It will help you get where you need to be for Insaity or P90x, in time.

He's a loser that doesn't see the real you. Drop him! My boyfriend loves me at the weight I am NOW and the only thing he wants for both of us is BETTER HEALTH! I can't wait to knock him out with my new body!

You're looking so good! Keep it up!

I just did day TWO because of a migraine I had yesterday that wouldn't go away! Doubling up today! I'll be doing my "day three" workout in about ten minutes. Way to go everyone! :flowerforyou:

I just did my day TWO workout (I had a migraine from the heat all night last night and gave up). Doing a second round after my protein shake! I'm feeling good today! My ankles feel weak so I'm focusing hard on the upper body moves and keeping my feet flatter during lower body exercises. Way to go everyone!

I go every day. It gives the best results (for my preference)! :flowerforyou:

I drink EAS Soy Protein from Wal-Mart. :blushing: I've tried many but it is delicious! I usually drink it with soy milk. 19g Carbs, 20g Protein, 170 calories, 1.5g Fat, 17g Sugar for one scoop. A little high in sugar but I absolutely love the texture. :drinker: Edit: I should add, it's only $9.88 for each container and the…

You go girl! We all have our moments of "OMG NO MORE PLEASE!" and exhaustion. What is important is that you got right back up and kept at it! I'm 192lbs and on average I burn 284 calories doing level one. A lot of people log it under circuit training; I have a Heart Rate Monitor. :flowerforyou:

L1D1 complete! I'm still getting over my little cold because I had to stop twice because of an asthma flair-up. All is well and I feel great. I burnt 307 calories (I honestly felt like I was a little lax during some of the Shred, even though I almost always do the advanced moves, so I did thirty extra…

L1D1 complete! I think I'm still getting over my little cold because I had to stop twice because of asthma flair-ups. All is well though and I feel fantastic! I burnt 307 calories (I honestly felt like I was a little lax during some of the Shred, even though I almost always do the advanced moves, so I did…

This brought me to tears! What a wonderful story and beautiful inspiration! Thank you for sharing. :flowerforyou:

Congratulations! That is a beautiful difference. It just goes to show how important it is!

I'm definitely in! I absolutely love my girly drinks, beer and wine! Not to mention the obscene amount of calories I spend on caffeinated drinks. I should add I am doing the 30 Day Shred and C25k program on top of eliminating these drinks! Week 1 - October 1: 192.8 Week 2 - October 8: Week 3 - October 15: Week 4 -…

I'm doing 30DS and attempting the C25k concurrently! I have found that previously, I was only excruciatingly sore from the Shred the first few days of each level, so I figure I can do my 3 days of the C25k on my stronger days. :flowerforyou:

Hello everyone! I personally have begun using 5lb weights (I used none or 2lb weights the first time I tried 30DS). I need to trim down my pudgy arms and I love the burn the day after. I even tweak Jillian's arm moves a bit to target additional arm muscles.
-
I've partially done 30DS before with amazing results and I have a HRM. In the first week or so, I burnt an average of 284 calories (I created my own exercise, Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred, and changed the calorie amount every time I logged it) on level one and around 300-400 (when going at it HARDCORE with actual…

Hi everyone! I can't wait to take on this October 30DS challenge with all of you! I am a twenty-two year old college student. I am busy, busy, busy but I always make time for a little MyFitnessPal logging & chatting! :flowerforyou: I have a boyfriend of six and a half years and two adorable cats, Milo and Jinx.…

Agreed, HRM's with no chest strap are useless. I have the Polar FT40 and I am in love with it. I absolutely feel that it is accurate and even so, I try not to eat my exercise calories back unless I'm doing so with nutritionally sound items.

I will be joining you! October - a new month and a new start! I've done it sporadically all week (as I caught a cold) but I'm ready to get into gear! Count me in. :drinker:
-
Congratulations! Pharmacies and Wal-Mart's almost ALWAYS have one and are usually very accurate! Keep it up.
-
I'd love to! I will gladly send you a request right after I hit "reply"! What a wonderful feat you've accomplished. I've heard that lifting can help (and I would love to do it anyways! Big muscles ). My family has a dramatically strong line of diabetes and my doctor told me a year ago that if I don't lose…

The good news is, I never had the tight firm body of a 16 year old (I was actually heavier than I am now) so I luckily won't have such a rough comparison.  Thank you, you're right .. sometimes I forget that my health is above all else in this process. I'd love to reduce my asthma and have more stamina. I will…

Silly me, I totally missed a post of this same topic below. :embarassed:  I looked but went right past it! I apologize, my fellow Fitness Pals! Count this just as a little rant if you'd like. Maybe I can take some of the experiences shared off of the other topic.
-
Mine says 150lbs. :noway: I'm actually 185lbs right now. :embarassed: I hadn't weighed myself in school and I got my license when I was seventeen - so in my mind, I figured, eh, same weight as when I was fourteen. Wrong! I haven't bothered to change it but it's such a lie.

This.

I have a WW scale and it works wonders for me. It definitely can vary but if I get on it three times in a row in the same time frame, it gives me a consistent number. Good luck!
-
Honestly, I do it once a month. (: I weigh myself weekly and on the 5th of every month (I began my journey on the 5th of May, so it's been the 5th ever since) I calculate my body fat %, my BMI (a lot of people say not to depend on it but I track it anyways) and I take all of my measurements. :flowerforyou:
