Amazing post. Thanks for the morning eye-opener!

I drink a good 72 ounces (9 glasses) at work, then more at the gym or at home (which I don't track as much)

You look awesome! Super proud of you!

I'm 24 and would love to support ya! Sending you a friend request! (PS super cool you're from Scotland - my family is dying to go there someday...)

You look amazing! So inspiring!

I've only seen this once (so far), but two young women, hair and makeup done, doing NOTHING while standing over some guy bench pressing, trying to impress him I'm sure (certainly not spotting LOL). Literally, five minutes later, guy has moved to core machines and girls have followed - still doing nothing. At least the guy…

I have major sugar issues myself. Once I've eaten my cereal in the morning, I've pretty much hit my sugar intake for the day - and it's from the 1% milk, not the cereal!

Molly Ringwald (when I was a lot thinner and my hair was a-line short). It would have been more cool 25 years ago LOL, but it's still a complement :)

Definitely great advice. Congrats on an awesome NSV!

I do the cooking for my partner, but he will want to go out at least a few nights a week. I think he does it to give me a break, but honestly I don't mind cooking most of the time. I have learned to say no when he goes to certain places or when I feel I should really just make myself dinner.

I'd love to join - my next goal date is Valentines!

Upping your calories should definitely help. You don't want to send your body into shock. Also remember that you should eat back the calories you burned from working out. So if you burn 300 calories during exercise, that means you should be taking in an extra 300 calories from food. And this may sound silly, but sometimes…

I've only been asked once, and oddly enough it wasn't when I was my heaviest. I was in junior high and I had a belly on me, and these lil' elementary girls (who were deliberately being rude) came up and asked me if I was pregnant and giggled. I'm sure they grew up to be such sweet teenagers (*cough* NOT). What hurt more is…

I agree with the strength training. I'm in the same predicament as you, wanting to run but fearing that I am too heavy, and usually when I start running I get shin splints a few weeks in. So I've been prepping by doing the elliptical to get my body used to moving again, as well as doing some strength training on my legs.…

Awesome! I'm starting the C25K at the new year and I'm very out of shape. Glad to hear about your success!

I do this as well. Usually I clean on Saturday mornings, and it takes a good 2 - 3 hours to clean the majority of the house. This weekend I'll be deep cleaning the kitchen, and you can most certainly bet that I'll be logging that in LOL.

I recently read a book called "Secrets of a Former Fat Girl", which offers great advice as far as turning your physical life around. One of the pieces of advice in the book was to not tell anyone about your "diet", and basically the reason for that is you're already your own worst critic, so do you really need your friends…

Sorry, maybe it's digress, not jest LOL.

I personally prefer not to get them because I believe I could fight it off just fine at this point in my life, making myself stronger while not making the virus more resilient with the shot. However, if I were older or had a weak immune system then sure, I'd get the shot. I do believe it's a personal choice and that your…

You look awesome! Keep up the amazing work - I'm sending a friend request your way and would love to support you!

Hey I'm planning on starting C25K at the New Year! Just remember that one man's jog is another man's run. Listen to your body, and if you feel that the speed your running pushes you yet is safe enough that you won't hurt yourself, then I say you're good to go. Be careful not to push yourself too much though - I have the…

You look amazing! I'm trying to lose 90 myself (I'm currently 226) and would love your support if you'll friend me. You're an inspiration!

You look amazing! Great job!

I'd definitely do a quick search online before leaving to see what your best options are. Also, if you want something on hand without going online, there are pocket references you can get at the bookstore - keep it in your desk and quickly flip through it before you and the boys leave. Or just opt out altogether. I'm sure…

I agree with the smaller meals/snacks. Usually I keep my snacks under 100 calories, and its even better if it's a fruit or veggie of some kind since they're low cal (most of them anyway), and your sneaking them into your daily diet. Also, you may not have time for hobbies, but how about just keeping a crossword or sudoku…

Great job on losing 10 so far! I'm trying to lose 90 myself - I'd love to support you and I'm sending a friend request your way!

You're looking mighty fine! Seeing is definitely believing!

I'd love to support you! I've been using MFP on and off on my phone for a few months but I'm new to the site!

I'm in the same boat as you - 5'7 and 90+ pounds to lose. I've fallen off the wagon more times than I can count, and the weight to lose is very overwhelming, but we can't let that stop us. I'd rather say I've fallen off the wagon hundreds of times then say I never got on in the first place LOL. I have read that you benefit…

Hey there, I just turned twenty four and although I'm not a current student, I know what it's like to feel like you do not have the time to take care of yourself. Feel free to friend me for support :). Also, I recently read a book called Secrets of a Former Fat Girl, and the woman who wrote it started her major weight loss…
