Since I've gained a lot of weight my breast size rocketed to a DD, even bigger I'm sure (haven't wanted to go bra shopping for a bigger size since). At my leanest I was more like a C, and yes, I would like to be a C again!

Honestly, no. I want to be more open minded and say yes, but personally I need a trainer who practices what they preach and who has a body that shows they've worked for it so I can see I'll be moving in the same direction.

Wow this is such an amazing journey, to think you were going to have surgery but instead conquered it yourself! I am truly impressed and inspired - you're such a lovely woman! Very proud of you and looking forward to hearing about that final 50 pounds!

I dig your humor - sending you a friend request! Feel free to send me some food, too...jk (or am I?)

This! For the most part, the more you put into it, the more you'll get out. I haven't lost a ton of weight yet, but this is what's been working when I have been losing. And remember that if you work too hard or don't eat enough, your body is gonna hold tight to the fat it has (starvation mode). Definitely eat your exercise…

OMG your butt is awesome! I'll have to add that to my workout when the time comes!

This! Don't take it personally - karma is a b****, and you can bet it'll be coming back on this guy.

I only count water as water and add other drinks to my meals. However, I drink a TON of water so I don't really need to count it. I say if it is closer to water than a calorie loaded beverage (tea is close to water, soda is not), why not count it? It's a personal choice.

Agreed! I've got a jar at home and I'll have a spoonful after work when I get a sugar craving. It's the best 90 calories in a spoon around!

Mostly just water lately, but I love iced tea too. I usually don't sweeten mine, but just a little bit of sweetener will do the trick. Also, I do drink juice sometimes, but I fill my glass with 1 part juice and 1 part water. It will taste funny at first but then you get used to watering it down - it cuts the calories and…

Dress 4, or Dress 3 if you want to add a pinch more zazz :) I love that dress! Where'd you get it?

Definitely check out her blog and listen to her. She's proof that when you focus more on a quality diet and toning your body rather than losing weight, you get fantastic results. Plus, eating as little as 1000 a day can put your body into starvation mode and it will hold tight to your extra weight - in other words, you…

This for sure!

I last renewed in August '08, and at the time I was being truthful - 140. OK maybe I was 5 - 10 over that, I don't remember. Then I shot up to 230 in three years, but now I'm down to about 212. So we're working on getting back to the driver's license number!

I have a Polar FT4. It's a great starter HRM (my first), it tracks calories burned and if you're in your target heart rate zone, and it's really easy to use. Regardless of what kind you get, get one that includes a strap that goes around your chest - I've been told these are more reliable than ones that are just around…

Feel free to add me! I'm 24, 5'7" and am currently 213 trying to lose around 80 pounds :)

44 - wow, my weight loss looks good in butter!

I am happy,. I promise! I'm also paranoid LOL.

I love my Asics, while my mom is a New Balance loyalist. Shop around - it's all what feels best for you!

Maybe you've gained some chest muscle that's enhancing them? Maybe they are adjusting themselves for your new figure? Well, at least men won't mind LOL.

I'm sorry that your husband is "blessed" with the ability to eat steak, drink beer AND lose weight - that's gotta be hard to watch. Do you both eat the same foods at home? Perhaps he would be more willing to eat foods at home that are a pinch better for your diet goals. He can eat what he would like during the day, but at…

That IS an accomplishment! I swear everytime I check my bank account, most of the purchases are for fast food (not so much these days, but anyway). Seeing that your spending even just $15 bucks less on bad food is great! Congrats!

OK, this is a dessert not a meal, but have you ever tried BLACK BEAN BROWNIES!?! I've made them a few times - they are awesome! Just search for your recipe of choice, and be sure to rinse of the beans really well before mixing into the batter :) Wait, someone already mentioned them LOL.

Thanks everyone for your responses! I used to be a runner back in high school, and I think my problem now is that I want to progress faster than I should. I'm 80 pounds heavier now, so I need to go 80 pounds slower LOL. I'm going to take my sweet time now :)

I'm on "week 2" of the C25K and feel for ya. To help ease into it, I'm doubling up my weeks (so I'll do week 1 for 2 weeks, week 2 for 2, and so on). Also, instead of running two or three days in a row, I suggest either doing something different the day after a run or have a rest day. For your shin splints, do something…

Definitely agree. If you eat 1200 calories but you burn off an extra 500 or so exercising, you need to eat back those calories. If you don't, your body is going to think you only ate 700 (because you burned off 500), and it is going to hold onto your weight for safety. So eat a bit more and maybe exercise a bit less.

Paula Deen never said "Eat my gooey pumpkin cake AND lose weight." If people are going to blame her for America's obesity problem, then we are all mere sheep following the shepherd. People are responsible for themselves. I've made a few of Paula's recipes in the past but knew going in to them that they weren't healthy.…

Pretty soon after joining a gym you realize people are much more focused on themselves than other people. Focus on yourself and be proud that you're taking care of yourself, and other people at the gym won't matter one bit. In fact, maybe being around other people will start to inspire you rather than make you feel anxious…

Thanks for sharing! Since I've been of MFP and following the "fill up your workout calories" routine, I've found I'm really not that hungry, and I'm currently on a 1230 calorie a day plan. Yesterday I ate well over that, but I went to the gym and had a great workout burning most of the excess, so it all evened out. And the…
