In N Out is so overrated. I'll take Red Robin instead. To each his own.

I do an event in the morning (race or cycling with my club), then feast. Usually feasting is early so I also have a light meal that night. I'm usually still over maintenance for the day but it's one day. I just won't stuff myself silly. Only happily full. And I still make better choices than I would have before.

Change at the gym. Home workouts are great if you do them. I don't so I have to go to the gym.
-
I can still lift with my bad back but I know what I need to do per PT. Water jogging is doable (but super boring). Cycling, especially recumbent.
-
Cereal, rice, nuts and nut butter, pasta, cheese, ice cream, pretty much any convenience food or snack.
-
Frozen waffles with almond butter and bananas were a staple of mine when losing weight. Still have them as a snack sometimes.
-
must must go find the nog. thanks!
-
I'd have the salmon burger, hold the aioli and something on the ruffage...probably the broccoli
-
I'm always cold. I'm told its because I don't have much body fat. Oh well!
-
I don't get it either. I only get DOMS if I take a break from lifting. Once I get back into my routine, no more DOMS. DOMS aren't a sign that your workouts are more effective than if you don't get them, imo.

None. I eat what I want when it fits (and sometimes when it doesn't lol).

All things in moderation. Balanced diet. Active lifestyle. No smoking. Social drinker. Live life to the fullest. And love. I really think that's the best we can do. I'm not going to worry about every little thing that is linked to cancer. I'll stick with my almost daily 2 strips of bacon, pork chops, sausages and hot dogs,…

120-124 is my maintenance range.
-
I like the Quest Protein chips a lot. All 3 I've tried are good. Sea Salt, Cheddar, and BBQ.
-
No, participating in sports. My training and races takes up all the free time I have.
-
I used to be a bookworm.....sports, however, have taken over the free time I had to read.
-
I guesstimate...a lot. has worked for me.
-
1000 calories, plus exercise...umm no.
-
Just tried Philadelphia Cream Cheese Pumpkin Spice cream cheese. Delish! I had it on a bagel thin...bad choice. Bagel thins, blah, regular bagels, yum. No more bagel thins for me.
-
I eat pizza regularly so that wouldn't be a splurge for me. A splurge would be a huge Mexican meal with lots of cheese and dessert for dinner. Plus a nice brunch. That would do it for my day.
-
None so long as your nutrition is on point (i.e., getting enough calories daily to fuel your workouts). I even do my long runs first thing in the morning. Breakfast when I get back.
-
Yep, that's why my standard breakfast is the bomb! Pancakes (sometimes protein pancakes), topped with fruit or preserves and/or nuts or an apple on the side, and eggs and bacon. breakfast of champions!
-
I need lots of carbs to feel full too. That's why I eat pancakes almost every day for breakfast. These, I use a whole cup. 1/2 cup wouldn't do it for me at all.
-
that does not sound good based on the ingredients. Please let us know how it turned out.

Love this! :-)
-
You are a BEAST! That is AMAZING!!!
-
To be a bad a** at my chosen sports.

A lot of bunk in that article. I just had to delete someone for posting it and then getting aggressive with me when I pointed out the false information in there. Why does it seem that the wise ones have left MFP and its been taken over by the misinformed???
-
I now save enough calories that I can have a big dinner and dessert. Has been working.
-
The only thing I told myself was that I didn't have time. I still don't have time. I mean, there are only 24 hours in the day. But I now make the time to get my training in. It's all about trade-offs.
