New to me... But I love these things! They were on sale for $0.88 at Kroger so I bought a bunch to try and really like them.

If it isn't over-training, its the bike. Ouch!
-
I like them too. I end up eating the whole box at a time though. lol

This sounds very similar to TJ's broccoli kale slaw kit. Its delicious and $3 per bag.

Trader Joe's Broccoli Kale slaw kit is da bomb! That is all. :-)

Looks like I'll be using up a lot of my Sunday calories to try those IHOP red velvet pancakes. Their pancakes usually fill me for the entire day so it's fine.

I'm in the same boat with my mom and have thrown in the towel. It saddens me, but they have to want it for themselves. I helped her last year get set up and learn to use MFP but she quit after a few weeks. Although she keeps gaining weight and worsening her health conditions, she doesn't want it bad enough to make the…

Yes. First thing in the morning after going to the bathroom. Only way to get true weight, imo.

I lost 70 lbs guesstimating. I maintain just fine guesstimating. I've never weighed anything. So I'm pretty good at it, but many people aren't and find that they need a scale. Do what works best for you.

It's ok. Not a great substitute for peanut butter, but good enough for some things like smoothies, imo.

I gained 100 lbs when I got pregnant so 9 months. I don't think looking at it as an average of a small number of calories provides a good picture. Just as weight loss isn't symmetrical, I don't think weight gain is symmetrical. For example, I can go weeks eating at what appears to be a small surplus and not gain weight.…

You work at it each and every day until its easy again. That's my plan. I have a problem with over-eating yummy things that I buy in bulk at home or when I'm on vacation. This year was bad. It is hard to tell because my training regimen makes these lapses only recognizable for a few days. But I want to feel in control of…

Bigger biceps isn't the same as when women say they don't lift because they are afraid of getting bulky. I am quite lean, with very visible muscles, but no one would call me bulky. And yes, some shirts are tighter as a result.

That's a normal fluctuation.
-
^This! Running too much actually makes me lose too much weight.

A high calorie day is what I call it.
-
I'm a sucker for free food.
-
I burn around 1,000 cals a day on average. But it requires close 2-3 hours of training. I log around 350 calories for my 2 hour weight sessions.

I used up left over ingredients to make some dishes I made at Thanksgiving - autumn lasagna, cornbread stuffing, corn pudding, and mini pumpkin pies. I never get tired of Thanksgiving food! Yum, yum, yum! Also dried persimmons from TJ's.

the thrift stores are your friend

I eat what I want in any combination I want.

I enjoy both, just depends what else I'm having. Ignore the sugar-phobes.

Definitely has plenty of nutritional value. Just not very filling for many people.

Recently diagnosed and almost 1 month into birth control treatment. It doesn't affect my weight at all.

Anything that tastes really good. lol It's a will-power thing.

Very interesting thread. Lifting makes a big difference. Going to keep at it for 2016 to get to a consistent size 0. Even though I weigh more than I did in 2014, my clothing size went down. Unfortunately, it makes it very difficult to buy clothes, especially pants. I hate vanity sizing....size 0s and 2s with huge hips and…

Probably not at all. I'll be on vacation so going to lose my streak again. Not worth tracking as my estimates will be way off since not familiar with these places.
-
Dislike. Planning is everything. Should never use working out as punishment for indulging.

I use my HRM for running and cycling and rare occasions that I get to row or do the stairclimber. I estimate for swimming and walking. And I use the HRM number as a rough estimate. My cal burns for cycling with the HRM always seem too low. Most accurate for running, imo.
