No cheat days for me but plenty of days when I eat higher, especially the weekends. Generally, during the week I try to stick to 2000-2300. Weekends, easily at least 3000 each day because I tend to eat out for a lot of my meals.

No "heavy" lifting here. But I do the machines 3x per week and increase my weights as my strength improves. By all accounts, my results are great, so I'll keep doing what I'm doing. It also complements my athletic training. I see lots of women in the free weights section. I think more and more women do want visible muscles…

I make a version of this....egg whites though, vanilla, cinnamon, a little baking powder. Top with berries. Delicious and filling!

These were so not tasty, imo.

Yep. I often eat like this on the weekends. Brunch and dinner.

The like button is good for diary posts and such. Substantive posts, I usually take the time to comment. Not every post requires a comment.

That sounds like a boring diet but to each their own. I'd find it hard to bite my tongue, but I would.

That's (too) aggressive. Good luck!

I had many a great adventure this year and reached many of my athletic goals - learned to swim, swam 1 mile continuosly, completed my first tri, podiumed at my last tri of the season, became a faster runner and PR'ed every race, averaged close to 20 mph at a 100 mile cycling event (riding non-stop) - built up some awesome…

It is. Check out a pic of the one at BJ's. Definitely a two person dessert.

Top with fresh fruit or preserves. Don't know what the issue is with mixes. Use a quality mix. I like TJ's pumpkin pancakes, Kodiak Cakes, Pamela's (gluten free but I just like the taste), and P28 (a protein pancake). Don't fall for the oh no carbs thing. I eat pancakes on a regular and even went 2 straight months having a…

I have 2 cups every morning with 1/2 and 1/2. Maybe another 2 in the afternoon at work.

Congrats!

Eat a few every day.

Usually my regularly scheduled meal. Nothing special.

I stopped overhead press. It's not that important and was ruining my shoulders for swimming and running.
-
More peanut butter pie. But I only bought a slice. *sigh*
-
Nope. Running burns a lot of calories. More so than most other forms of exercise.
-
The pizzookie is one of my fav desserts. We go to BJ's just for dessert to get it once in a while.

You don't need surgery.

I don't do resolutions. I set goals - races and events with finishing times, non-fitness goals. New Years resolutions are more often than not broken.

That's way too low. I'm 122 lbs and at 1600 calories, I'd melt. It's hard enough to stay at my current weight with my regular program (swim, bike, run, weights).

Already had 2 Christmas get togethers, have 3 more to go, not including Christmas Day. Then 12 days of 2 separate vacations where I plan to eat lots of Chicago deep dish, yummy creole food in NOLA, and dessert(s) every day. I travel for the food. Back to my regularly scheduled program on Jan 5th. I'm sure I'll look a…

This is my theory too. Exactly why I want that second piece of pie right about now. lol
