I'm feeling pretty good this morning. I officially hit 20 lbs lost this morning from when I started in January (3lbs for this challenge). I feel so much better than I did at the beginning of the year, and I can feel my fitness increasing, too. I did a 45 minute run yesterday which I could never have done five months ago.…

Make some grilled vegetables! I love grilled eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, etc. Just a little olive oil and salt, and it's a great way to fill your plate with healthy, low calorie options!

I like logging my weight every day, but it was difficult in the beginning when the weight stayed the same or even increased. But seeing the results over time is so satisfying. I actually weighed 1.6lbs more this morning than yesterday, but I know that it's because it's my TOTM, not that I actually gained 1.6lbs overnight.…

Challenge Goal Weight: 153 March Total: 3.6 April Total: 1.4 May 3: 157.2 May 10: May 17: May 24: May 31: I'm feeling pretty frustrated right now. I've been working so hard and based on my calories I should be losing weight. Hopefully I can do better in May.

Happy Sunday everyone! Anyone do any good workouts today? I went for a bike ride with my husband this afternoon. We rode for about an hour and it was so nice to get outside! It has been really rainy here recently and I'm enjoying the sunshine.

Hope everyone's doing well today! Its finally warm and sunny in NJ, so I got in a great two mile walk with the dogs this morning, and then did some gardening. I also got in a strength and treadmill workout this afternoon. Hope everyone else is having a good Saturday!

I actually just changed up my calorie allotment. I was doing 1400/day and ate back exercise calories. Last week I decided to change to calorie zig zagging throughout the week. Now I am eating avg 1650 calories daily (tdee with exercise is around 2200), and not eating back exercise calories. My daily calorie allotment…

So I have been on a plateau for about a month. I keep bouncing between 158-160lbs. I think I might be recomping a little, since I'm on week 4 of a new lifting program, but it's still frustrating. I recently switched up my calorie goals, so hopefully that helps. This morning I was 158.0lb, so I'm going to start from there…

I have a really similar current weight and goal, I'm in!

That looks so good! It's the first time I'm trying that recipe, but I love gochujang and I am super excited.

I added you! I'm 33, 5'8", started at 175lbs in January, and currently at 158lbs. My final goal is 140-145lbs.

I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian, but I cook a lot of plant based meals. I love this west African peanut soup recipe that uses collard greens: https://cookieandkate.com/west-african-peanut-soup/ I made this spicy kale and quinoa salad last night, and you can probably sub collard greens for kale:…

I felt the same way at the start of quarantine. I just dreaded my workouts and didn't do anything for about two weeks. I really just had to force myself to do it. I made a deal with myself that I would just do a 15 minute HIIT workout, or a short run around the neighborhood, just to get myself moving. Then I found a new…

I'm 5'8 and currently 160lbs, down from 175lbs at the beginning of the year (my highest weight ever). My weight has really varied in the past, but I think I would be comfortable around 145lbs. I have a large frame, and I do a decent amount of weight lifting so I have some muscle.

I'm joining a little late, but I want to participate! I am female, 5'8", and I turn 34 on June 13th, so I would love to lose 10 lbs by my birthday! As a vegetarian I regularly use plant based protein powders to help me reach my macro goals. I could definitely hit the minimum protein requirements without it, but I am trying to build lean muscle.

Yup, I recently had a two week stretch where I wasn't losing. I also had my TOM, and I started a new lifting routine, so was retaining more water. I just kept weighing my food and remaining in a deficit, and in the past week I've had a 1.6lb drop! Don't get discouraged, remember you're doing all the right things, and…

I'm in the US and I watch it on youtube. Another good one is Supersize vs. Superskinny. It's insane how poorly the people on those shows actually eat! Plus, I find it highly amusing that in every episode they make sure to mention how people in the US are fatter than people in the UK.

I love this show! It's really interesting to see what people are eating when they think they're eating healthy. So many people on that show think they're eating a healthy breakfast of cereal and it turns out they're eating 3-4 servings of cereal with full fat cream on top every morning.

I usually take at least 1 week, and then see how it's looking. Also, I try to avoid anything that will rub a lot during healing. I would rather take a couple of weeks of working out to fully heal versus doing something that might mess up the tattoo forever.

I like to pre-log in the morning. I like knowing that what I'll be eating fits in my meal plan.
