I went to one of those places where they put you on a treadmill and watch your gait as you run and it really helped me. The other thing was the shop assistant showed me that if you can twist your shoe (like wringing out a cloth), it's too soft for running and more an aerobic shoe. A good running shoe (according to the…

Make that 3. Whenever I watch Biggest Loser, they do a mixture of cardio and weights from day 1.

Yup, as everybody else has said, double bra. I wear a standard with sports bra over the top and I manage to jog on the treadmill. I would give one bit of advice, do the bounce test in the changing room when buying a sports bra, not just a jiggle, a proper jumping bounce test - you can't afford to be shy about these things,…

Guilty as charged! But only because the blokes at my gym always seem surprised to see a female on a weights machine so I like to make them wait.

Mine are: - People who walk across my mat for a shortcut to the weights. - People who gather all the equipment they need for their training programme and don't leave anything for anybody else (happened tonight). - People who decide that me staring off to the distance as I'm exercising is me actually looking at them and…

Or when D!ck Van *kitten* tries speaking like a Cockney and fails (in Mary Poppins).

People from London seem to have trouble understanding my Yorkshire accent. Me, I like the Geordie and Cornish accents.

5'3, 181lbs, size UK16. I was verging on a size 18 when I was around 188lbs.

I've only recently started running on a treadmill in the gym and I got pains in each part of my leg in turn each week. I got fitted for new running shoes (one of those places where they put you on a treadmill and film how you run) which helped. I've also found a great stretch which I do prior to running which is standing…

How about something with a bit of padding? Even us big girls need a bit of extra help sometimes. I would avoid halter necks, I find they just don't offer the same support. If you think you're looking saggy, you might be wearing the wrong size. What fits in a bra, might not necessarily fit in a bikini top. Try and find a…

I've paid a trainer to source a workout which will be reviewed every 6 weeks which means the trainer is there on day 1 and I'm left to it for the rest of the time. I start with a 10 minute warm up on the cross trainer Then do some lifting with dumbells whilst either sitting or lying (shoulders/neck only) on a fitness ball,…

I hate doing side planks. And I've just had to look up what burpees are. And I hate that I have to wear 2 bras (1 normal, 1 sports) for exercising.

Face at the moment, awesome cheekbones. Not sure where next as I haven't got that far.

Do you stretch lots before and after exercising? I have achey legs because I'm not used to running/using those muscles that way. Friends I've spoken to say that aches are common when you first start out because your muscles are working harder than they're used to. As long as it is just an ache and not pain then you should…

How about adding some ankle weights?
-
Go by measurements instead. If your clothes are loose, you've lost weight. Or try your local gym, they always have weighing scales.

I've found the stretches on here helpful. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_1/126.shtml And maybe try a support bandage?
