I have lost 22 lbs in 10 weeks. The first pic was taken in September 2012. The second pic was last week. I keep looking at this picture for my motivation to keep going! It does work!!

One other thing that has worked for me: I cancelled my cable! I was finding myself and my boys sitting on the couch in front of the TV way too much. Instead, I signed up for Hulu Plus. If I want to watch a show, I watch it on my iPad while on the treadmill.

I have just been watching what I eat! I try my hardest to stay away from processed foods. I walk at least 8,000 steps a day but strive for 10,000. I will do some sort of strength training every other day. I like to mix up my workouts because I get bored very easy!

Thank you everyone! If there is any advice that I can give it is: 1. Keep at it! Don't give into the mental battle. 2. Take pictures!! They are HUGE motivators!

I have tried and failed numerous times also! However, I was 'dieting'. I did not see it as a lifestyle change. I find the best way to do it is to take my kindle, get on the elliptical machine and just read. Or take an iPad and watch something. I hated exercising too until I found started doing things that I love! I love to dance so I will do dancing workouts. I have to take my dog for a walk so I just walk a little bit faster. I also do my workouts in 20 minute increments. I find it very daunting to say that I need to get in 45 mins to an hour of working out.…

Thank you very much! I wouldn't trade being a mom to an autistic child for the world! He has taught me so much about life in his short 8 years than I have my entire life.
