maybe you should try pilates. i've heard it is great for those with injuries and it's not high impact exercises. it can also help with flexibility.
-
it seems like whatever you've been doing has worked for you so great job and welcome to mfp! :)
-
that's so true! i wish i would have started this journey way before i had this much to lose!

Great job everyone! I'm surprised at how many responses there are! You all have done GREAT!
-
They are probably just jealous that they don't have the willpower that you have. ;)

Mine flucuates between 2 or 3 lbs. I try to not weight at night as it only depresses me. I only weigh once per week in the mornings after I've used the restroom and before I've drank or ate anything.

I don't really have a Big Event but I will be turning 25 in March and I know that I won't hit my goal by then since I want to lose 60 lbs but I would like to have healthy eating habits and a daily exercise routine going before I hit 25 ;) Count me in!

Wow, I did not expect this many responses. I'm so glad everyone posted and for those who have POST NOW. :) I think this is very encouraging for everyone. I know it sure motivated me. I did read EVERYONES responses. It would take me forever to respond to all of them. But it seems like everyone has done such an amazing job…

August 1st was our 1 year wedding anniversary We had a double wedding with his Brother :) I can totally relate to having a disproportioned (Is that even a word?!) body though My arms are fine My legs are a little stubby Most of my weight is in my stomach and my face (double chin!) I've been on the site a while but haven't…

You're beautful Great job!

Thanks for all of the replies. I still haven't received my copy yet. It should ship today or tomorrow though. I can't wait to receive it and get started. I'm not really a fan of exercise though. I've had this pattern of starting and stopping and so on. I hope this time isn't going to be a repeat of that. I want to get this…

I've been on this site for a while but as you can see from my ticker I've not had great success and that's my own fault That people here on MFP are great and they do a great job I just haven't had the motivation or the willpower to do anything lately Good luck with your goals:)

Those are good My family calls them "bird nests". lol
-
I don't think it's rude at all Like your signature says You are doing this for You, your family and your Health :)

I ordered mine from Ebay today. I'm excited to get started. I don't have any other exercise routine so I'll probably be really sore. I'll try to pull through though. How many calories can you burn from it?
-
Wow this is really inspiring. I'm the same height (5'3) and my heaviest was 180. I'm now between 170-175. It varies. I've been struggling to lose weight. I just keep going back and forth with it. I'm not that dedicated even though I really want it. Keep up the great work!!

I do the same thing. I'll do great for a day or two and then I just start making horrible choices and not exercising. I gain everything back and then do good for a couple more days. So really I'm just maintaining. My goal is to lose 65 lbs though. I've lost 7.
