  • Hi I am new to chit chat, had gastric bypass RNY on Monday, Oct 17. Had my surgery at the Civic Hospital with Dr. Yelle. My surgery was text book. Everything went well and I did not have almost any pain. I am 55 years old and since my 3 weeks opti fast period I lost 26.6 pounds. Alex

  • Been there and I totally understand. I told my doctor that I prefer to drink nothing then to have a diet pop. He challenged me to drink diet pop for 1 month only and that if I did not like it, he would never bring it back into our conversation. It's been over 5 years now and I find regular pop way too sweet.
