I would love to join a weekly weigh-in group. @prinqt - I'm from WI too. Mad-town :)

You look stunning!

This was actually my sister's ex meeting my family for the first time. Dad: (re his new job) my probation period ends in six weeks. Dude: You're on probation too?!?!? I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dad: Leave my house.

You're leaving? Can I come with you?

I believe that is the opposite of what they call cheating, my friend

My husband has been hit and miss with his efforts and I've realized that all I can do is set a good example and invite him to come with me to the gym. Whenever he's feeling down about the weight he has to lose I just tell him that I believe in him but you have to put in the work to get results. We recently had a…

I totally feel you on the PCOS front and I would say, if you aren't already in contact with your doc about your symptoms you should be. For me, there have been many times that I thought it's supposed to suck this bad. I just have to tough it out. Then later I learn that the extraordinarily tough time I was going through…

You look great!

That should fix it.

Horseradish hummus, roast beef, arugula, in a pita - soooooooo good! I also love their veggie corn dogs but they usually blow my sodium up. and CHILI SPICED MANGOS!

So my weird weight loss secret: When I go grocery shopping I go to the refrigerator case first find a block of lard and put it in my cart right next to my purse to remind myself of what I am trying to get rid of next week.

There is definitely the baby aspect that is scaring me too. A vacation sounds like great motivation. My goal for this month is to run my intervals at 7.0 mph at the top end I'm at 6.8 as of today.
-
That is awesome! I know exactly what you mean. There is no going back from here it's just a matter of what my next goal will be. One day my goals will all be fitness/performance based. Right now, it's about the weight loss.

I had a similar conversation with my doctor. My longer term goal is to get down to at least 160 before I get pregnant.

I know it is silly but 30 is freaking me out a little... actually a lot.

Hi Renee! I've got about 75lbs to lose and I'm always looking for positive friends. I'm sending a friend request right now. Anyone else can feel free to add me as well.!

I've been watching this series on hbo.com. It has been fascinating and terrifying all at once. I'm planning on watching the last part tonight.

That sounds about right. Salad toppings add up pretty quickly at 100+ calories a piece but the overall nutrition of the meal was likely really good - fiber, protein, fat. If you cut the cheese and cranberries in half you would probably save over 100 calories. Sounds like a good learning moment.

Me and my husband have had very candid conversations about my weight loss efforts. Our agreement is that my body is mine and I need to do what makes me happy and healthy. He will support me in my goals as long as they are healthy. He asks that I don't push him too hard to take on my habits and that I respect his wishes not…

Oh! And participate in this community. There are so many people here that are struggling with many of the same things. Build a support system to keep you accountable!

I can completely relate to the feeling of trying and failing. Being overweight, uncomfortable, depressed, tired. It all sounds familiar. What struck me is that you have very clearly defined reasons why you are overweight but your reasons for getting down to a healthy weight are not well defined. When those reasons are not…

If I feel like my toes are falling asleep I'll pedal for a few seconds on my toes. That usually gets the blood flowing where it needs to be again. Or I'll lift my feet a little from the foot plates for a few strides until I feel comfortable.

We cuddle for about two minutes and then we sleep back to back. We both like to dangle our legs outside of the blankets and off the edge of the bed.
