I bought myself a Pandora bracelet and for every 3kg (7lb) I lose, I add a bead/charm. I now have 12 charms on it and I'm 1kg away from adding my next charm. Every time I feel negative about myself or that I haven't achieved much, I count the beads on my bracelet. By the time I reach my goal weight, my bracelet will be…

37 kg gone (81.6 lb) so far. I've just passed my half way mark. It does sound much more impressive in pounds than it does in kilos! I've lost two of my almost 4 year old daughter! Which just boggles my mind!

you look awesome! I'm at 36kg lost and I wish it looked half that dramatic on me as it does on you! Well done!

I started at 304 lb (138kg) in July 13. I'm now 233 (106kg)... My goal weight is about 143 (65kg), but anything under 153 (70kg) would be great I think. The first 25 pounds came off easily but the rest have been agonisingly slow regardless of all the added effort I'm putting in. On the positive side, I can move around much…

I love my Fitbit One. I clip it to my bra and nobody knows it's there :) Also now that I have a HRM, I checked and the calories burned when I'm doing the Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVD's are very similar between my HRM and my One.

Here's me! Am off to a good start but that's probably because I've been stuck on the same weight for the last two weeks and it finally took a big dive for this morning's weigh in :D Yay! I'm an Aussie so do things in kg but have converted to pounds as well... hopefully I got it right! SW: 138kg (304 lb) - 14 July 2013 CW:…

I'm 39... I started at 138kg / 304 pounds (5'6) :( so needed to lose over half mine... I'm 32kg / 70 pounds down now and at least another 41kg / 90 pounds to go. MFP and my Fitbit have changed my life... No, change that... *I* have changed my life with the awesome help of MFP and my Fitbit One :)

Broccoflower, leek & fennel soup... This is one of my favourites. I don't bother with the sour cream. And I use Cauliflower and brocolli instead of 'broccoflower' which I can never find. I also use salt reduced stock cubes to help keep my sodium intake lower :) Divided in to 6 servings at less than 90 cals a serve :)…

I have PCOS, Insulin resistance and pyrroles disorder (blood disorder that make it difficult to absorb zinc and other vitamins/minerals). I've lost 30.5kg (67 pounds) over the last 9 months. I still have about 43kg (94 pounds) to go. I no longer eat pasta, and try and mostly keep to low GI foods. I'm losing weight at half…

I have pcos also. All I can say is that you CAN lose weight without surgery. So far I have lost 30kg (67 pounds) over the last 8.5 months. I still have a long way to go. For me, it's taking twice as long as it should for the amount of effort I'm putting in. I track everything very carefully and for every 1 kg I 'should' be…

I like to weigh daily... I like to record it in my spreadsheet and watch the overall trend this is what 8 months and 30kg (66pounds) looks like :)
-
I'm down about 50 pounds so far, with about another 100 pounds to go :)

I'm near Sydney and I have never found it anywhere. I just attempted to grow my own with very dismal results! But the one (yes, just one!) that I managed to grow was delicious! I bought the seeds from a website called greenharvest

I'm near Sydney. :) I've been at this for 6 months now and so far down 25kg with somewhere between 45-50 to go.
-
I started in July and I have lost 50 so far and still have 110 more to go
-
I started at 304 and am down almost 38, with at least 120 to go. I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere yet and that my goal is impossible. I'm trying not to think of it like that. I just keep putting one foot in front of the next and keep plodding away.

I know what I'll be doing after my kids are in bed tonight! Making my already crazy spreadsheet even better! Thank you for sharing this - love all my data and charts and graphs!

looks like lots of great ideas here! Popping this message on so I can find this thread tomorrow and have a good read while I have a bit of child free time :)

When I get to the 100 pound lost mark I will be in the same boat as you are now. So far I'm down 35 pounds with at least 120 pounds to go. But I only started in July so I think I've made great progress so far :) I also have PCOS / Insulin Resistance and started at 304 pounds. I just try not to think about how far I have to…

Can I join in? I still have about 130 pounds to lose (29 pounds/13.2kg down so far) :( At this point it is feeling like I will never reach my goal. I took progress pics yesterday and compared them to the first ones I took and I look EXACTLY the same!! I even superimposed them in photoshop and I can't see any size…

I have had my fitbit One for 5 weeks now. I'm just using it to try to encourage me to be more active and to be more aware of how inactive I am. For me, over the past 5 weeks, it has over-estimated my calorie burn by 304 calories per day. This is based on calories I've eaten over the last 5 weeks (I weigh and log everything…

the most hurtful one I have had was from my dear foster mother. Sometimes she will speak without filters on and one day said to me that I need to do something about my weight or I will soon end up the size of the mother from the movie "What's Eating Gilbert Grape".
-
mine is utterly pathetic :( but I can now put on socks without a struggle, unlike 7 weeks ago when trying to put on socks would almost leave me in tears because it was so hard.
-
I weigh every day. I'm okay with the fluctuations because the overall trend is down! And I love charts and graphs, they help keep me focused and motivated. Here is my chart (from my crazy excel file) for the last 48 days. I removed the kg numbers from it because I'm still at a weight that I don't want 'out there' publicly.…

I have a slice of Burgen SoyLin bread with breakfast each morning and it's not slowing down my weight loss :) I'm also not ready to quit bread just yet!

I'm down 8 kg (17.5 pounds) now and nobody has noticed. I can't notice any difference so far. But I still have so so far to go - over 59kg (131+ pounds) - so I wouldn't expect anyone to notice. And I haven't told anybody that I'm trying to lose weight. My 16yo son just thinks I've gone extra crazy weighing all my food.

I'm just starting out and need to lose 150 to get to my healthy weight range. starting 303 current 292 goal range 140-150 I'll be 39 in November and I'm desperate to reach my goal weight range by the time I hit 40. I'm trying to cut out processed foods and sugar and making sure I eat regularly instead of skipping meals.…
