I don't think my diet could be inhibiting change that much... About calorie intake- I never ate as much as I think is recommended but ate when I was hungry. Perhaps just need to eat more?

I think my diet is pretty good- very little processed food and sugar. I have made an effort to eat more protein... Maybe I need to just try something else. Thanks!

I just finished Insanity and loved it! It was super intense and by far the hardest home workout I have done. I got pretty good results and feel much more healthy and in shape. I would recommend it but add that you certainly have to be motivated to work VERY hard and stick with it. I am soo glad I did! I am thinking of…

I have also decided not to eat fast food. So as a student, I take something and if I am short on time, I take lots of somethings such as a banana, an apple, veggies, granola bar, a yogurt, nuts, trail mix, wheat crackers... Just saying there are plenty of options. Although I would prefer to just eat Chipotle:)

I also have very muscular thighs. As I get my body fat percentage down (I am about 23%) I am seeing that my inner thighs are really thinning out and becoming more toned. The outsides of my thighs are pretty solid but I am noticing a change in my inner things as I finish up Insanity. Perhaps yours will change more as you…

Great ideas- thank you! Perhaps some more info...I do take multi vitamins daily and an additional B and D (every other day). I have slept a lot over the last few days- pry about 10 hrs per night until last night- I had something to do this am. I am working out hard but I don't think it is terribly different from usual. I…

My husband knows I speak to people on a forum about exercise and healthy diet stuff- thats all though

I have been thinking of trying those noodles...sounds like a good way to do so! Thanks

At this point in life I envy the idea of having time to get bored to eat...but I think this is comparable to my problem of eating as a distractor/instrument of procrastination (as I am now using MFP for:) When I really can't resist- I eat healthy popcorn to mitigate the damages but otherwise... To avoid eating- chew gum,…

Oh and jjs- I do feel like a wuss on those days- thanks!

Thanks so much for the great feedback!!! I will have to put some thought into what I need to do differently...off the top of my head: I was less healthy than usual last night which could cause me to be dragging a little and then I didn't eat much this am ( a small serving of cottage cheese) but that isn't unusual. Tomorrow…

Ugh- me too!

I am a very small person so I felt like 10 lbs looked like a LOT (I am 4'11); when friends I hadn't seen in a long time were here last week they said my husband looked like he had lost a lot of weight :) Try not to get discouraged- it is harder to tell for people that see you every day. You know you are making a change!…

I am frustrated also! During my first month of Insanity I lost about 3-4 lbs and about 4 inches. I have now finished the second week of month 2 and seem to have gained back about 2 and no measurable loss otherwise. I am not that concerned about a few pounds I just thought I would see amazing results during the second month…

thanks, i will try it

Thanks for your response- I do enjoy doing other things and try to jog...this being final exam time I haven't been able to take extra time for that. Maybe when my exams are done and I can do some extra moving around it will help! Way to go with your program!

perhaps just get it out there one more time...

I just started reading it and am not sure what I think. Lots of it really makes sense...I thought about trying to cut out wheat but it is in sooo much that the idea is quite intimidating!

I do- I don't generally buy fruit to freeze it but freeze if I am not getting to it. Except bananas, I always buy extra bananas so that I can freeze some. Yummy smoothies!

Turbofire? Chalean? other ideas?

Yes- agreed!!!

I am willing to try this out- yum

Hi there! I have been vegetarian for a decade or so and make that personal choice for moral purposes mostly and I feel there are some healthy benefits that come along with it. I think many foods are much less healthy and have unhealthy chemical/hormonal/antibiotic...etc included that lessen their value than say 20 years…

I don't really talk about it either; for me it feels like an area that I feel insecure and vulnerable so I don't really go there. I do talk with some good friends about goals to be more healthy.

I was feeling the same way...so I just made some da*n cupcakes! And it was amazing:) I did do the diet soda cake thing and it turned out alright- at least I only had the calories of the cake mix. Moderation they say- we all should get a treat now and again!

I have had great results...my feet bothered me quite badly when I started wearing my running shoes. My cross trainers oddly make a huge difference. I have kinda bad knees but they didn't get too bad with Insanity. They got a little sore at one point so I just stopped running for that week or so and iced- got better. Good…

Just started second month and I am sore but I love it! I am in pretty good shape and within a healthy weight but have lost about four pounds and about 5 inches. You can do it!!! Just do the best you can and keep at it!
