Very true. And by the way great job on your weight loss.

Don't be afraid. Just keep moving. It get's easier and blast music then you won't be distracted by some of this. =)

I think if I was 10 years or more younger it would of hit me that way as well. I was more annoyed that my music was having issues so I stopped about 5 minutes later to grab my phone to restart my music app.

Whatever works for you. I mainly started on a treadmill but I try to do most of my actual running outside now... it's way different but to me it feels better and keeps my attention longer.

Oh and just to say. He did not really bother me. I just wanted to share the experience and thoughts. Thanks everyone.

my first 5k!

I thought it was but just went for it and I was sooo shocked that I made it for 20 minutes. It was an amazing feeling.... Side note the 2nd time I tried to run 20 minutes I only made it to 15. Just try and see if it works... if it does you will feel great if not go back to the day before for a few days.

No real clue. First time I weighed myself I bought a scale that could take 350 pounds and it did not work first 4 weeks and I finnaly bought a scale that went to 410 and: weighed 365 so I am guessing 370 to 400. I have a long way to go but I am down to 285ish and feelings better every day. I can even "run" a 5k without…

I have gained 8 as well after doing this for now I believe 5 weeks and noticeably bigger. Granted I am still not eating my full TDEE but man I can't get a break and I would figure with my size it would be much easier.
-
It starts at 8am so it should be good. I am used to running outside during 8pm and so it should be close to what I am used to unless we get a huge heat wave.

Thanks I made sure I am scheduled to pick up my package a few days early I heard it was better. Thanks for the info on seed. I could see myself falling for that as I have done myself when running alone... I have gotten much better at pacing. I run 30 to 40 minutes on my 5k days currently without stopping so I might not…

Should I put in my current weight or my weight I am aiming to be? I weigh 285 currently and I am not sure if I can eat that much anymore.

Keep it up! My smallest I can recall is 42 as well. I am a 44/46 right now and can't wait to get around 38 and then just keep going. Hey I would consider it a NSV if i could barley button them. Better than not even being able to pull them up!

Have fun at kings dominon

Thanks. And just keep going and you will be there as well. I see your moving along.

Unless you normally do that much walking in a day at work or something I would log it. I went to six flags last weekend and was there for 7 hours. I only logged 2.hrs of walking at 2.0mph. Granted it's not the same as a workout but any energy used is a calorie burned and if that's not part of normal routine that mark it.…

Same to you

I just posted an NSV that had to do with C25K. I just completed Week 5 day 3. I started this program and have repeated days when I did not complete the running or walking interval. I used to be out of breath all the time and now it's so much better. I started very over weight and I am still over weight but I lost 50 pounds…

Thanks all. When you go from at the most an 8 minute run to 20 you first think no way but then when you do it you feel like you are well on your way to tackle a 5k. Granted I have repeated days because I did not fare so well so this program will take me 5 or 6 more weeks than it's planned for but it feels great. I plan on…
