  • MFP started me at around 1600. I lost 30 pounds fairly quickly but wasn't exercising. Then MFP asked me to reevaluate my calories so I did and it lowered my calories to about 1300. I also started exercising about this time...I have gained 4 pounds back. One of my friends posted this article a little while ago and I…
  • Good luck...I think I'll try it Friday and I'm really nervous. Today on Level1 was harder than it's been for a while :(
  • I have a bad knee and so some of these moves are hard on me. Take it down a notch for a few days and then see if you can work your way back up to where you were. It takes some time for those muscles to get stronger. I can now do way more than I could at first. Good luck!
  • So happy to have a rest day today! But kind of excited to see if I can do all the push ups tomorrow, I'm getting so close!
  • Just got done with day 6 and I have to say I'm really looking forward to a rest day tomorrow!!
  • For the first time since I started 30 DS (I'm about 3 weeks in and still on Level 1 :blushing: ) I could do the whole things without resting! I'm finding myself about in the middle of the easy and hard, but I'm so excited about getting to this point. Maybe I won't die if I move up to Level 2
  • UGH!!!
  • I use 3 lb. weights, but on the squats and arm raises they are too heavy the second time around so I don't use them. They are also too heavy for the side lunge/arm raise at the end, so I don't use any as they are the smallest I have. I like the idea of cans of beans, I'll have to try that. Thanks for the suggestion!
  • I have been wondering the same thing. I have done it for about 3 weeks pretty steadily and still can't do the easy part of level 1. I have the same issue with jumping jacks (ugh!), have to do push ups on my knees and even then can't do it the whole time, and can't even use my 3 lb weights through the whole thing. I would…
  • Day 1 done....boy it was hard today!! btw my weight is 198...hadn't weighed for a while :(
  • Totally hate putting this out there for the world to see...but have to start somewhere with the accountability, right?!? waist (smallest part) 37 hips 44 chest 41 1/2 neck 14 left arm 14 1/2 left thigh 24 1/2 Haven't weighed for a while, I'll do that tomorrow morning
  • I would love to join this group. I have been doing 30 day shred for a week or so now and still can't get off level 1! Need some help I think :)
  • I am on day 6 and have experienced the same thing. I am hoping it is a temporary thing! But, I feel better, have more endurance and can now actually do the jumping jacks! I think if we keep going we'll see the pounds go down again. Hang in there! We can do it!
  • Monday, Jan 8 goals: 1. walk 30 min 2. clean the kitchen 3. do my church assignments
  • Day #3 goals: 1. Put table and chairs away ( I really need to get this done!) 2. finish laundry and put it away 3. stay under my new calorie goal 4. drink enough water
  • I have found that I am really bad at estimating how much I am really eating. Measuring and weighing your food will help and give you an accurate calorie count. Try to get as close as you can to your calorie limit for the first little while so your body will not shut down and go into starvation mode. Also keeping to your…
  • I managed to walk today, but I only got the chairs taken down, not put away, and not as much as I wanted done on my cross-stitch. Tomorrow's goals: 1. walk for 30 min 2. put table and chairs away 3. cross-stitch 2 lenghts of thread 4. finish dishes
  • Good luck with #4!! That is a killer! I have found that a Caffine-free Diet Dr. Pepper hits the spot when I'm having serious cravings. I don't normally like diet drinks, but I'd rather have a diet Dr. Pepper than none at all!
  • This will be my first time joining a group or posting, but I want to say thanks to all those that do, I read blogs and threads and it has helped me alot. I am 44, a mother of 4 boys, 23, 20, 19, and 17. I've been married for 25 years in March. I am a list person, so this challenge speaks to me! Thanks for starting this!…
