I would rather not eat bread than eat wheat bread. I have literally had a break down in the bread aisle in the past over wheat bread. Bread isn't the enemy. I just try to make it worth while. Avoid processed if possible. I'd rather have fresh baked bread that I could truly enjoy

I will be 30 in 28 days! Feel free to add me. I have been logging daily for over 120 days :-)

Are you doing any cardio? Even if you jump rope at home or walk with the children, you need cardio. When I got stuck, my trainer recommended zig-zag calorie counting. You can google it. It has worked for me.

Couseling and therapy. Those are not normal responses to food or weight. The focus of diet, exercise, and weight management is health. Your behaviors are causing damage to your heath. Your primary care should be able to refer you. I recommend someone who specializes in eating disorders.

I'm a nurse practitioner in family practice. I pack my lunch with a morning and afternoon snack. I also keep healthy, non perishables at my desk just in case. We have access to a fridge and mircowave which is nice. We don't get drug reps often (due to company policy) so that is kind of nice (They always bring the worst…

Welcome to MFP and Congrats for making the first steps in your weight loss journey. I have 100 lbs to lose and I agree, it is intimidating. Its all about small gradual changes. You are trying to make lifestyle changes, not just diet. I would start by logging everything and seeing where you week spots are. As far as…

Hi! Welcome to MFP and congrats on deciding to make a change. My advice is baby steps. Your goal is lifestyle change, not dieting, so if you make too drastic of a change, you will never stick with it. Congrats on cutting out the soda and cutting down the sugar! That is a great first step. A goal to track every day and…

Most of the lit I have read suggest eating 6 times a day rather than 3 big meals. Personally, I try to vary my eating. It keeps things interesting lol

Welcome! Your post completely makes sense. Just start with small changes. If you try to start too drastically, you will fail. I would sit down and have a conversation with your husband. Come up with other ways for him to surprise and encourage you other than food (my husband does lotto tickets and Chapstick - I love…

Hi! Congrats on 30 lbs! I am down 11 in 2 months. I am recovering from a recent bout of pneumonia (occupational hazard) but I do strength training with a trainer 2 times a week and cardio 3 times a week. I am not a cook so I am always looking for healthy options. Feel free to add me!
