i think it's because we see ourselves everyday & therefore the gradual change doesn't really register in our brains. i have that same issue also - people have told me i no longer look the same, but i totally don't see it. Feel free to add me as a friend for some support if you'd like :wink:

My HUH moment came when my niece who is 13 y/o & wears a size 00 in juniors came & asked me what diet i was on b/c she needed to go on it.....i was like are you kidding me?!? i'm 5'3" & weigh 147, size 10 --- don't even remember being in a size 00 as a teenager, so i just told her she was CRAZY!

Welcome aboard! Don't doubt yourself in this - just take it one day at a time & you'll do fine. i would suggest setting small goals for yourself - like 10 lbs b/c i know that looking at a substantial amount of weight to lose can definitely be discouraging! Feel free to add me as a friend :-)
