My personal opinion would be to try both & see which one you prefer. For me, i can run short distances but will never be a long distance runner due to old knee/ankle injuries that didn't heal properly. i agree with all the other posters - it's ridiculous that people think it's okay to say ugly things about others! i'm from the south & unfortunately have to say that people down here are that way - in that they speak before they think - but i've found personally that it seems to irritate them when you give them a big smile…

i totally agree with angrystarlyt - i know that having a healthy snack at my desk has kept me from giving into a temptation more than once for sure! Also, i've found that there are times i think i'm hungry but am really just thirsty - so i keep a cup of ice water at my desk. The added bonus is that i have no problem…

Congrats! i've lost 61 pounds over the past year & that's more than my 6 y/o weighs :-) i have 21 more pounds to go! In prospective, i tried to swim yesterday in the pool with him on my back & could not do it - i wondered to myself how i ever swam when i weighed 212 pounds.

i think it depends on your preference - the big thing is actually getting on the machine to burn the calories. Personally, i prefer the ARC Machine over the Treadmill or Elliptical. Hi - i've lost 57 pounds since May of 2011 but will note that i have gone through two surgeries that limited my ability to exercise so my loss has been slower than others. Personally i feel that the speed of loss isn't as important as the method of loss. Good luck! :flowerforyou:
