I tried it about 9 years ago with success, but I gained it all back & then some.... MFP is much better & smarter AND in my opinion faster & healthier! You cut out too many things with his program & then when you go back to normal eating/normal lifestyle - back it comes.

I was stuck between the same 8 lbs for 2 months....so I finally changed from 2 lbs/wk (1200 cals) to 1 lb/wk & the scale started moving again. I've been doing it for almost a month now. So, I'd try it for awhile to see how it goes for you...working so far for me. :flowerforyou:
