Check in the groups section for IF groups. I think there are some on here :) I know that I've seen lots of threads about it, anyway. As for myself, I don't do it. I just eat clean and work out regularly. Easier for me, but I know a few people who do IF and say that they've had good results.

I spend about $80 a week or so on groceries for my husband and myself. Avoid all middle aisles, just get our fresh fruits and veggies, dairy, and meats and away we go! Edit to add: When we were eating heavily processed, including take out, and regular groceries - we spent probably around $160-$200 a week.

I eat -mostly- clean, or try to at least. I don't consume protein powder anymore - I get my protein from clean foods like you mentioned. Eggs, nuts, meat, etc. To each their own, I suppose. I love bananas. They've never hindered my weight loss, I don't believe. That was the chocolate and chips and stuff that I have occasionally. Seriously, I've never heard someone say, "I'm so fat - all of those bananas that I ate really made me pack on the weight."

You really need to work on not letting people on the internet get to you. I'm not trying to be mean, but if faceless comments disagreeing with what you post in a public forum (not everyone will always agree with you) make you give up on everything, I think that indicates something larger going on.
