  • I want in. I will be 43 next month, I have PCOS and could stand to lose 20 lbs.
  • My new favorite is La Croix which is carbonated water and there are several different flavors. I came upon this when I gave up beer for Lent. Also, club soda is wonderful.
  • Cheryl, Yes, I did mean access. That is the trouble with trying to type while (2) 3 year olds are climbing all over you. Thanks for all the responses.
  • I know how to create the recipes and have several but I want my husband to be able to assess them or do I need to put them in all over again on his account.
  • Drinking buddy, not drinking body. You know what is on my mind.
  • Giving up sweets and booze. Have kind of been drinking lots of wine since Thanksgiving and have a hard time saying no in January. My husband was supposed to be my wing man and help me not drink. Last year I gave the same things up, no prob. So, I told him that God was a much better wing man. His response, "Well, God isn't…
  • I wanted to throw in a tip for the hummus. I watch my carbs and therefore really don't eat pita bread or the pretzels and other things that go with hummus. I have lowcarb.high fiber tortillas that I throw in the skillet to harden up, then I cut them into strips or triangles for a quick lunch. Very good and I don't feel bad…
  • Hi there, right back at you. Have been doing MFP for about 3 weeks now and I really like. I feel in control. Looking forward to hearing from you and how you are doing.

  • Hi there, this sounds like a forum that will suit me me just fine. I have been low-carb for a long time except when I pregnant and nursing. Done with both things now and really trying to lose 20 lbs. I keep my calorie less than 1800 and carb less than 55. I am not seeing a huge weight loss. Also, I have PCOS which I know…

  • In regards to the comments about needing carbs, yes, you are right. We do need carbs but don't need them in the form of flour, sugar, white bread, white rice and pasta. We need them in the form of plenty of fruits and veggies, small portions of brown rice and whole wheat pasta. And, yes, you can have some of those items…
  • I have been low carb since 2003 except for the times I was pregnant or breastfeeding. But, my girls are two and have ever since. I try to keep mine under 50 a day. I might put 1/2 cup in with homemade red sauce and sausage. Just enough carbs and that is not everdy day. Lots of griled meat with veggies and salads and low…
