I do both on the same day. I split mine one in the morning and one at night. Back to back is fine but I would lift first so my muscles aren't tired. I agree with NaturalNancy on making sure you are lifting different muscle groups of you do two days in a row.

Rest it until fully recovered. How old are your shoes and did ou get fit to make sure they are the right kind for you?

I run 4 days a week (4-10+ miles) I strength train 3 days a week. I get up and run or ST before work. One run is during a child's practice. Long runs I get up and do early Saturday morning. I have found as a parent sleep time and sport practices are my working out savor.

Yes, eat what the guidelines tell you. If you under eat you will not have the energy you need for workouts and it can slow weight loss.

I get up at 4:30 and do it before my kids are up. I run, lift at home or videos.

When combining running with T25/Max 30 I will replace the cardio workouts with running.

Decrease your miles and work up. I would start at 2 miles and add a 1/2 mile each week. Also, have you been fit for a proper shoe?

I debated the 230 vs 235. I ended up with the 235. I was unsure about any wrist HR accuracy. If I want my HR I can wear a strap or do it the old fashion way.

I am not a fan of the treadmill aka dreadmill and hamster wheel. That said it has its time and place. Netflix is great. I survived a 12 mile on the TM with it. Interval runs also help me through.

I have done it with great results. I have done so many programs and hubby always says this one showed the best results:).

I just get up, get dressed and go. I do not give myself time to think about it. Empty stomach for anything less than 5 miles. PB on whole wheat bread of over 5 miles. My first mile is a little slower and then I am good. Give yourself time to adjust. The first few weeks are tough then it is all good:).

Thanks guys. My muscles have been dragging so I am increasingly water. I took out chocolate milk when I removed cows milk from my diet and replaced it with almond milk. I may just need to go back. Something definitely needs adjusted as my muscles are not recovering as they should.

I work out at home all the time. I would suggest after that go to bed or in the morning before they get up. I work out at 4:30am before anyone else is out of bed.

I would suggest going into a local running store and discussing your options. I did this before buying my Garmin 230 and it was so helpful.

Defineyly go 50lb adjustable for long term usability. I love mine and they are very easy to adjust.

I understand not wanting a certain trainer, ect but $100 for a workout is in correct. The last two I bought were $60-70 and had 8-9 workouts. Jillian Michaels Body Revolution is a great beginner workout. For any workout to succeed you have to push yourself to do it. Only you can make yourself succeed. Good luck.

I am on round 2 of 21 Day Extreme. I've had great results. Do you lift at the gym? If so, it may be worth looking at the extreme version before deciding.
