I'm not a fan either, so I like to use just diced zucchini. I love meat sauce over sliced bits of zucchini with some part-skim mozzarella cheese.

Make sure your dinner is satisfying and contains adequate protein, good fats, and fiber. As for night, I love hot tea. Especially the sweet flavored variety like peach or vanilla. Add a tsp of sugar, a packet of splenda, a tbs of honey.. It's pure love.

I immediately think that perhaps 1200 is too little for your daily consumption and your body is wanting more. Perhaps share your goals here, because 1200...I'm not sure why people aim for this very small goal... anyways, I wouldn't beat myself up too much. Track it and move on. Tomorrow is a new day. I don't vote replacing wheat products with alternatives. Rice bread and other things are very high in calories sometimes, so be on the watch for that. I've been pretty successfully wheat free for about a month. There are ways around it. Like having a sandwich rolled up in lettuce, or using sauteed zucchini in place of…
