I've noticed this as well and would love to know of someone has figured this out. For the time being, I just go into my diary and delete the duplicate entry. Still annoying though!

Agreeing with everyone, especially RGv2 (beat me to it!). I would also suggest taking measurements with a tape and ditching the scale.
