I had 64 carbs, 51 net if you subtract fiber. I'm trying to go lower carb to a) stop snacking so much on pretzels and baked chips and 2) slowly get back to lower carb as I know it works. I lost 2 pounds in 3 days since I started lowering them (no white flour). That's more than I've lost in 2 months just watching calories.

Sweet Potatoes are more complex than white potatoes. White potatoes would break down to sugar a lot faster than sweet potatoes do PLUS they are full of vitamins and nutrients. I was never a sweet potato eater until low carbing. Once you get off the sugar and flour, a sweet potato tastes like heaven! :)

Anything steamed is a good idea (most likely NOT made with extra oil). Steamed white rice and steamed chicken and broccoli is a good choice. Not too fun but its fuel. But eh...when I go, its usually the buffet and I just try to eat light before and then splurge a bit while there.

I always just give them the money and tell them to resell the boxes or take them home and give them away to whomever. I haven't had a girl scout cookie in about 12 years. I wouldn't know how to send them overseas. If you find out, please let us know. That is a great idea

Are you putting EVERYTHING down such as butter spreads, condiments, what you cook with? Also you eat a lot of processed foods. I am sure your sodium levels are through the roof. I work 8-6 so by the time I get home, feed the cats, change and start to work out, its 6:30. I treadmill for 30-40 minutes, make dinner, eat and then usually poop out in front of the TV by 11. I wish I left my work at 5...I'd have so much more time to do the things I want instead of waiting until the weekend to do them.
