i've been coveting a running necklace made by Endure. Sterling Silver Tortise chasing a Hare. It's pretty freakin' awesome!! Well, that and a Michael Kors watch. -Andi

Way to go, girl!! So proud of you for not giving up, despite how the scale lies sometimes. It tells us that we've gained when we've lost inches. Gaining strength and muscle is one of the reasons that damn thing doesn't budge. Wonderful NSV!! Keep up the hard work! You're doing AWESOME! -Andi

Well said. I love this post. That's what I keep telling people! You don't have to stop eating what you love, but you have to make better decisions for yourself. Better decisions about what you put in your body and better decisions about how you move your body. Slow, steady weight loss has more lasting results. Everyone…

You look amazing! Be proud of your progress and keep going! You can TOTALLY do this. GO GET IT!!! -Andi

agreed. seems like she is the one with the problem and you are thinking about this very logically. Good for you.

I also make these Thai Peanut Turkey Meatballs that are SLAMMIN'! and really not too terribly bad for you. So easy, Trader Joes Turkey Meatballs, Light coconut milk, sriracha, fish sauce, and peanut butter. Crock Pot on high or low for a few hours and DONE! So GOOD!!

This is my favorite thing IN LIFE I think!! Sooooo good with the Fritos Scoops! -Andi

I found that I lost a good 5-8 lbs without even trying once I nixed the diet soda and artificial sweeteners. I drink tea, coffee, milk, water and red wine (for my heart, ya know?!). -Andi

Congratulations! You are beautiful!!

I have a light pair from Marvella that have the touch screen compatible finger and thumb for days that are chilly but not frigid. I also have a pair from Marvella that are cozy, fuzzy mittens. I'm saving those for when it's unbearably cold! Hope you find something that works for you :) -Andi

This time last year, an 18W in jeans/pants and an XL or XXL top with a size 40D bra. Now, size 6 in pants/jeans/skirts. Medium tops and a 34C or D bra. Yeah, I'm pretty much freaking out over this right now!! (in a GREAT way) I purged my closet today and I do have to say that I got pretty emotional. I didn't realize how…

You look GREAT!! The hard work is totally paying off!! -Andi

The advice from your doc is pretty much the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I think it's important to feel comfortable and confident in what you wear. Clothes that are too small make me more self-conscious and then I tend to be less social. It is possible to be comfortable, look put together and still lose!…

I wish I had the will power to NOT weigh daily! I run into the same problem with letting that number dictate my mood for the day. Still working on this. I currently weigh probably 4 days/wk. Would love to get down to once a week. Maybe the hubs should just hide the scale :P -Andi

I had similar results this week doing the same thing. It was awesome!! YAY!!
-
remember that the scale is just a guide anyway. don't let the numbers on the scale dictate how you feel about yourself. I've been doing that for years and I'm trying to change my perspective a bit. Congrats on sticking to your plan. You're gonna do great!! -Andi

Totally agree about the body dysmorphia. I think a lot of us have it even when we aren't obese. Definitely do measurements and I'm sure your clothes must fit differently w that kind of weight loss. Keep plugging away. Challenge your thoughts about yourself. You CAN do this! -Andi

super funny!! My husband and I just basically had this conversation. I tried on a sweater dress and leggings and asked his opinion. He said, "it doesn't look bad" Really?? WTF is THAT supposed to mean?! It doesn't look bad, but it doesn't look good?? I told him that for future reference, when I ask his opinion, he should…

Really, it's just about increasing your distance if you can already do 6k. Just add 5-10 min a week to your long runs and you'll be able to complete the 10K by your desired timeframe. 10K is only 6.2 miles and 6k is 3.7 miles. But if it's your first 10K, I wouldn't focus on speed. Just finishing. You can ramp up your speed…

I second your thoughts!! If they are total douches when they start to speak...fuhgeddahboutit!
