I've been meaning to try this, saw it on pinterest. Add a little PB too.... <insert: Homer Simpson drooling>

I usually just have a smoothie after my workouts (which are usually after dinner), protein powder, banana and peanut butter (ice and almond milk). If I have enough time in the morning I like to have my post-workout smoothie for breakfast. If I could I'd have them more often but I can't really bring my blender to work. Lol.…

I just got the Charge HR about 2 weeks ago, I love it! Though sometimes it misses my steps, earlier this week my pedometer "froze" and same with my heart rate (I was so close to my 10,000 step! I hit it but I wanted to see it hit it darn it! lol), it's done that twice now and is extremely frustrating.

I've learned this too much... I usually make the mistake of eating it again... lol. But I've decided to never eat at DQ or Perkins EVER again, and my beloved Angry Orchard... why do you have to be 210 calories a pop?! Because you can never have only 1 Angry Orchard. :( I'm so bad.. I need to clean my ish up because it…

Congratulations!! May I ask what you did?
-
Great job!! :) I need to drink less alcohol and more water. Lol. Also... cleaning up the diet, obviously this is working for you and you feel so much better because your body is thanking you!! :) Glad you did this for your health.

I hate cardio too, but I'm going to start running anyways because I know I need to incorporate that into my lifting if I want to lose. I lift probably 4-5 hours a week, I need to at least get that in cardio too I think. Ugh. Though, I used to do the Latin Zumba and it was so much fun!! That's how I lost my first 30 pounds,…

I'd say a food scale is key. :) I need to get one too, I think that's where I'm plateauing... also need to clean up the diet on my end. Lol. I know quality is very very important. Maybe up the amount of time you're working out as well? 30 minutes is a nice start but maybe going up to like 45 minutes on weights and then…

I can understand that, but we've all been there, you've got to take the first step for yourself. Don't feel guilty, it's hard getting started, it's hard keeping it going, it's hard not giving up and when you do it's hard picking yourself back up. No one can do it for you but you, she's gotta figure that out for herself...…

Firstly... you look AMAZING... made me blush... sorry. Lol. What in the world did you do because I need to hop on that wagon (currently plateaued). ;)
-
Keep it up friend!! :) Congratulations on how far you've come, imagine how you'll feel when you get there! :) I've kind of stalled, but you just gotta keep on going no matter what. :)
-
I'm very sorry for your loss. :( Very inspirational how you've progressed through it. You're GORGEOUS!! In both pictures!! Hard work pays off. :)
-
Well.... mission accomplished, you are a good looking dude!! ;)

I'm a somewhere around 5'3", I've already lost about 60 lbs but I'd like to lose at least another 70 or so, see how that looks and decide from there. I am really muscular as I lift heavy so heck it might even be less. I'm going for a look and feel and not so much a weight I guess. :)
-
So many reasons (most probably normal): I want to wear the boots that go over your calves... mine are too chubby. :( People at the gym that aren't regulars give me funny looks when I head into the free weights like "what's this fat girl doing over here, she doesn't know crap"... I want to look the part because I can lift!…

Congratulations, you look Amazing! So how did ya do it? :)
-
Holy crap - you and me, both. I'm such a klutz. I can barely make it through a free weights workout as it is without pinching fingers, stubbing toes, and tripping over the weights all over the gym. Every now and again I still pitch back too far doing squats and end up teetering on my heels for a second or two. Thank God I…
-
why wouldn't I just uh... squat, bro?
Its pretty good alternative when you cannot load anything on your shoulders.
I have uber tense upper shoulders and neck so this is just a lot less load baring, I also do my calf raises on here because it's easier for me. Not to mention it works everything from my…

Ha, we were confused because we're all talking about different things. Regardless, you've made great progress and keep upping the weights. Pretty soon, you're going to run out of room on the sled...
Haha. Thanks, actually I've scaled down to 8-45 plates because it was getting a little hard on my knees. I'm going…
-
*sigh*.. I meant plates on each side... 2 - 45lbs plates at first and now 12 - 45lb plates, and with the hipsled it's already started out at like 15lbs without any plates.
-
What? Why? I've worked very hard to get to this point, I do legs twice a week. I mean, I'm not beast, the guy next to me was doing more than double what I was doing... though he was barely bringing the weight down. I guess I understand your not believing, I had some guy and his girl stop in front of me and he said "I know…

No, I went from (hipsled, forgot to add that very crucial detail) 45lbs on each side to 6 - 45lb weights on each side. Starting I did 3 sets of 8-10 reps and now I do 4-6 sets of 8-10 reps, I also then do my calf raises with that. Sorry.
-
Guess I forgot to add that it's the hipsled.
-
I LOVE lifting as heavy as I can, I started at the gym June 2014 and went from 1 -45lb weight on each side to 6 -45lb on each side... needless to say I love lifting next to guys because I smoke them all. :) Hehe. Though I've hit a bit of a weight loss plateau these past 6 months, I'm trying to figure out ways of…

I go to the Mall of America on the weekends and walk for like 3-4 hours, that really helps! That and my gym membership, I would literally be a much fatter grump without it. :)
-
Oh my, you're so cute!! Congratulations that's amazing!! You can tell a lot of hard work went into your journey. I am half way into my journey and currently plateaued... feeling motivated again though. :) Thanks
-
Hmm. I'm 6 months in but still feel like a beginner. :) I'd say as for workouts, lifting is key, also end your lifting workouts with a nice "cool" down on the treadmill (15 minutes). I lift for about an hour, I started on the machines until I gained enough courage to go into the free weights (what I always thought of as…

Holy beautiful!!!! Wow!! I started a couple pounds heavier than you and I'm only half way to goal, thank you for sharing!! :) It's taking foorrrreeevvvveeerrrrr, but the eye is on the prize. haha

Good job!!! :) You get what you put in. You look amazing!
