  • Anyone can feel free to add me as well, I started at 280, got down to 194, now at 212 (school and being lazy) but I am back at it now! My goal is 150... and then see how I feel there and possibly going down to 140.
  • I used the whole wheat wraps, put a little tzatziki, provolone, sliced turkey, sliced tomato and some spinach. Voila! (Don't make these too far in advance otherwise the tzatziki makes the wrap a little mushy.
  • Keep up with it, the more you lose the less pain you'll be in. I used to have really bad sciatica to the point my husband would have to carry me to bed. Losing the weight helped, I very very rarely have any pain now. Keep up the good work, baby steps. It all hurts at first until you get into your groove.
  • I ate sugar free jello when I was keto, and keto mousse. Or I'd have some super dark chocolate with almonds.
  • Go for it! Don't let anything hold you back, that's why most of us are here anyways, we let our weight hold us back for so long and now we're taking the life by the balls. Carpe diem my friend! Rock that interview!! Plus, there are plenty of bigger trainers and employees at my gym, I've never even thought about it until…
  • I have the same problem, I eat 4 tbsp.'s of peanut butter for breakfast
  • I just say "myfitnesspal friend" but I don't say names as I don't know the vast majorities real names anyways. Lol
  • Switch out what you want for the healthier options, baby steps. I LOVE chips, I F*cking LOVE them! I started switching them out for the kettle chips, then I switched to sweet potato chips (yum) and would alternate that with Boom chicka pop, then I just went to only popcorn with chips every couple months, now I barely even…
  • When I first started my little journey, I had a little at home so getting to the gym was kind of out of the question. I started with the latin Zumba and it was SO MUCH FUN! I lost my first 20 pounds on that, then another 10-15 doing P90X, and then walking at the same time. After I got down about 30-35 lbs I joined the gym…
  • with how much weight??[/quote] However much works for you, don't go too heavy at first, I'd recommend if you don't lift at all to start with 10 lb dumbells and even lighter for the cleans... form is SO important, so even if you're doing body weight that's ok, work on form first.
  • I understand, sciatica is the WORST! Does your gym have a pool? I find that when it's bad that just kind of leisurely swimming is AMAZING! Also, do NOT get embarrassed, you're there to get ish done! No one has any right to make you feel that way, and if they do then THEY should be the ones embarrassed. :)
  • I wouldn't worry too much about carbs while being pregnant, everything you're eating has carbs (fruit, vegetables; ect). Subtract your fiber from your carbs and I bet you're at your carb goal for the day. Just focus on the quality and quantity of what you're eating, supply that little babes with quality nutrients you get…
  • I stepped on the scale this morning... EEK! SW: 278-280 CW: 201 GW: 145-150 Last year I hit 194 in August but then I got really sick until mid fall... then there was winter... this year will NOT be a repeat!!! I turn 30 on Nov. 4th and I have goals to be high school weight by then!! (185) and THEN surpass that and get to…
  • If you'd like, you can add me as a friend and check out my diary for ideas if you choose to go Keto. :) you can add me whether you do or don't. Lol
  • Blue pickles... ;) rawwwrrrr ... about to be Blue Peanut Butter
  • https://www.reddit.com/r/xxketo/ https://www.reddit.com/r/keto/ The Keto groups on MFP and Facebook are great as well. :) I've been off and on doing Keto since June... have only lost about 5 pounds... but I've cut down on my workouts and have probably been eating too many calories (honesty is the best policy). BUT, I do…
  • I have the same problem, I worry so much about others feelings that I am always the one that gets hurt, and then I get sad. I've gotten into a lot of bad situation because of this. I started saying no more a year or so ago and am focusing more on my self... and I'm INFINITELY more happy! I mean, I still put a lot of time…
  • Me too! I've a couple screw ups sometimes but I'm trying very hard to be keto, it would be helpful to have some Keto friends with open diaries as well, feel free to add me!
  • Proud of you!! Keep up the hard work... another 29 year old over here though I will be 30 on Nov. 4th (Trying to get to High School weight by then) Add me if you need a buddy. :) I went from around 280 to currently being 202-204 lately... I fluctuate like crazy. Lol
  • All I have to say is that there are so many free resources online, and I know that our health insurance company pays $20 on each member of my families gym membership as long as we go 12 times a month. Which then for my husband and I is about $20 we each pay a month! Eat home more, do to the gym more, comes out pretty even.…
  • Mmmm... avocados! I like to make my own guacamole and then instead of eating them with chips I eat them with cucumber slices. :) Also, cut an avocado in half, put it facedown on the grill... then put a scoop of salsa in where the pit should be... voila!
  • I understand, I'm on a break from salad at this moment. Lol. I bought some tomatoes, mozzarella, and vinaigrette to make my own caprese for lunches. I also sometimes just buy lunch meat and have a couple slices with string cheese and some berries. I know you don't like avocado but another thing I do is make homemade guac…
  • Hello! :) I've been working on this a while now, about 5 years (slow and steady) and I've lost about 75 lbs, but I'd like to lose 60 more (135 lbs total... WOW). I was stalled for awhile so now I'm trying KETO (low carb, med protein, higher fat), so far it's shaking things up a bit. :) Good luck on your journey, anyone can…
  • You're welcome to add me as well, I would like to lose 60-80... depending on how I feel when I get those 60 off. I've already lost about 75 lbs. :)
  • Amazing! :) May I ask what you did and how long it took? I love the stories that go along with the pictures. :)
  • When doing a ketogenic diet it says to have .8-1g of protein per body weight, that is easily achievable for me. I haven't changed how much protein I eat while on the keto diet and I still lift, I don't have a problem in the weight room. That being said, I've only been doing keto for a couple weeks.. with some slips in…
  • I just started using the viva MCT oil this week, I put it in my coffee, I love the texture it gives (especially since I've hella cut down on the creamer). I had peanut butter for breakfast after drinking my coffee and it made the wait until lunch feel like nothing. I don't know if that's my starting Keto or MCT oil but I'm…
  • I've just started as well, I recommend friending some Keto peeps and checking out their diaries for ideas. :)
  • I'd say take a break from lifting and go for a nice long walk, run, bike, or go swimming. I used to lift 5 days a week and then on my "rest day" I would go walking or running. Now I really mix it up and probably lift 2-3 times a week, run maybe twice a week, and then walk several times a week... might throw a Zumba night…
