I had this same problem. Thought my bunions were pushing on my other toes and causing all the numbness. Went to Pediotrist. NOPE!!! Inserts are the answer. Since I got my inserts, no problems. Not gels, but inserts. There are a number of places to find them. I know some Wal-Mart stores has the machine to measure your feet.…
