  • Hi Everyone! Please provide your "real" first name for the leader board next week. We'd like to get to know you! Also no one specified that they ate in the green so I could only give myself the flower. Join in everyone!
  • Hello everyone! Get your numbers in! Hope you had an amazing weekend and I will have something new cooked up for you in the morning!
  • Sarita!! My name is Melissa silly! And yes I will keep food tracking as part of the challenge. My only suggestion to you is to try and cut out or swap out a snack for something less caloric. Skinny cow offers a lot of low cal desserts and there are a lot of baked salty snacks out there too! You can do this! I have been a…
  • Amazing!!! Welcome!
  • Hi Tracey! That's great! If you like doing the bike just count how many minutes you ride instead of miles. Welcome to the board and the challenge!
  • Cool! Welcome!
  • ^^^^ If you need a modification for the mountain climbers use an exercise/balance ball. Place your hands on your exercise/balance ball instead of on the floor be careful not to lose your balance! This tip is useful for those of us who aren't as flexible or have too much belly in the way.....
  • Status check! How is everyone doing? I have been a mess at logging this week but I have been putting the time in. I had two exams and a 12 page paper due this past week. I wasn't so great about writing everything down BUT this upcoming week is considerably slower in the school department. If it does picks up again I bought…
  • Hi Kathy! Welcome! I don't know how I skipped over your post but I added you as a friend and I would love to offer support! Good to have you here!
  • Hi! I would try a Farmer's Market and/or Aldi's, Save- a-lot, and Food 4 less. The farmer's markets or veggie stands have the cheapest and freshest produce. The discount grocery stores will help with the cost of chicken breast and turkey burger and things like yogurt. I hope that helps!
  • Yay!! Welcome back Sarita! Thanks for the encouragement. I should have been smarter about it because I could tell the class was too much for me but I let others pressure me into trying it.
  • So glad the board is comin' alive! Welcome challengers! I have to vent for a second. So you know how last week I talked about not wanting to be the fat girl in an exercise class who can't keep up? Welllll.. my new trainer suggested I attend a "cardio" class (mostly kettle bells and kick boxing he said) it was HELL. And not…
  • Yay!! Wendy welcome to the challenge!
  • So funny I read it the right way so I didn't even see the typo! Great job with everything have a great trip!
  • Don't forget to check back tomorrow any one who is doing the challenge. PS. Summertime has not been good to our little challenges! :ohwell:
  • Looks like you are kickin' butt this week! And yes, unfortunately egg mcmuffins are devine.... I need to get it together! I have to get caught up on my logging!
  • How's everyone's week going so far? I am doing ok. I had a bad eating day yesterday but overall I am not doing awful. I called the trainer today to schedule my initial appt. Eek! It is a little scary but I know I have to do it. I have to tighten my diet up again because I need that scale to start movin'! Egg McMuffins and…
  • Haha! I must admit I added burpees for selfish reasons! I am a big girl and all of the skinny chicks in my bookclub do crossfit classes and keep asking me to go with them. I don't know how familiar you are with crossfit but it's a lot of jumping and running and lifting your own body weight -- very intense. I cannot do the…
  • That is awesome! I took a spin class once and it was really fun and challenging but you are right about the sore booty. Your loss is great, I keep stalling out and I am hopefully meeting with a trainer this week to get some new ideas and some guidance! Woo hoo!! We can do this! : )
  • Welcome everyone! Looking forward to getting to know you both!
  • Anyone working out this week? It's been crickets in here lol. If not we can do a new challenge on Monday and start fresh!
  • Wow cool! Welcome we can give and take all the support we can get. I for one get discouraged with this process from time to time!
  • Wow! Welcome! I LOVE the idea about the rocks and the pickle jars. I too have been heavy for a long time it gets really old. I am trying the same thing you are doing --- not thinking of it as a diet but a lifestyle forever change. It is hard sometimes to break free of the old habits but it does help to have support when…
  • Nice to have you here! We try and be big support to each other and sometimes use the board to voice frustrations. Mostly we just report victories and cheer each other on! Check out the weekly challenges!

  • Welcome Wendy! It's nice to have you here. We try and support each other our group is a little smaller than the huge 100lb board but it makes it so we can get to know each other a little better. I too have struggled with my weight for what seems like forever. 95lbs is amazing, my highest is 35. Check out our weekly…
  • I am thinking about getting a trainer! Does anyone use one and did it really help you?
  • Congrats!! That's so amazing!
  • If you use the elliptical and normally do level 16 why not try for level 17 a couple days this week? Or maybe use the hills program on level 16. Miles go a little faster on the elliptical so you will probably be able to do your normal routine in between trying something new. You can give a running total all week if you'd…
  • Welcome Michelle! Nice to have you with us! Look forward to getting to know you better!
  • Welcome! So great to meet you! My name is Melissa and I am here trying to get my life together. I have about 125 or so to go! Yikes that number feels overwhelming but taking it in small chunks makes it feel a little more manageable. I've tried every kind of diet from Atkins to Cabbage soup. I couldn't keep up with them for…
