I eat more on the days I do work out however on my "rest" days I usually stick to 1200 calories...and try to limit carbs after 3pm on those days. Just seems to work best for me.

I strength train 5 days a week and always do my cardio AFTER for about 20 mins or so. On the days I don't strength train I do a longer cardio session.

I make a smoothie most mornings....1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 cup strawberries (or any fruit on hand), 1 tbsp chia seeds, 2 scoops women's protein powder and 1 tbsp of PB2 (chocolate flavor)...it's yum and very filling. I read that story last night on Yahoo and I was amazed! I admire his desire to see what overweight people go through each day and the struggles to get in shape. I am looking forward to reading his journey back to "fit"

I personally use a New Balance monitor to track my HR and calories burned...I started using one about a month ago and it's great! Easy to use, no chest strap and stylish:)

The first time I was on a cycle bike I thought I was going to die...the seat hurt so bad! I loved the workout though so I kept going back even with the pain...I eventually got used to the seat after a week or so.
