Okay, got my HIIT 15 and Fire 30 in tonight. Oh, and just so you all know, I have a crazy syndrome that makes all of my joints too loose. I've dislocated every joint -- alllllll the time when I was a high school athlete. Other people get hurt when they don't stretch enough, I get hurt when I stretch too much. I see it on…

Centennial/South Aurora. :)

Okay, ladies -- just checking in! I am doubling up today since I missed it yesterday. How are you all doing this week??
-
Well, technically I started last week but my schedule got crazy so I called DO-OVER. :)

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane -- peppermint green tea. Only available during the holidays. Just opened my last package yesterday. I will have to savor them. LOL. Also love Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orange Spice. Fave green tea: bigelow peach, salada purple and salada red.

Hmmmm. Sounds interesting! A little concerned about the sodium but I can probably figure that out with some substitutions. Just curious enough to try those noodles! I do love bean sprouts -- haven't gotten any for awhile...think I'll add them to my grocery list. Thanks!

I am in centennial/south aurora. :)

I think I'll stick with PB2. Which reminds me -- I need to order more!

I like it with some Uncle Sam cereal, berries (fresh or frozen but halfway defrosted) and a drizzle of honey.
-
These sound like they're worth a try. Thanks!

My fave restaurant offers fajitas as lettuce wraps with black beans as an entree. Yum and not bad at all! Ceviche is a great choice, too!
-
Sooooo making these!!
-
So awesome!! congrats to you!

I haven't used it personally, but I know tons of people that have gotten amazing results! I bet you'll love it. You can always do sort of a "hybrid" with Turbo Fire if you feel like you need more cardio, too. Good luck! Feel free to add me if you need more support with it. :)

Ten Minute Trainer is GREAT. Tony Horton (the P90X guy) takes you through a great workout. Let me know if you want more info about that because it's awesome! I've also put on my ipod and run up/down my stairs for 10-15 minutes, done some pushups, planks, situps, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, etc. Do what you can do! :)
-
I will have to give that a try.
-
Yum. I have a similar recipe but this a bit different. Thanks!

Oh, and I read somewhere that a good rule of thumb is the sodium per portion should be less than the calories.

I do only 1/4 cup of natures path pumpkin fax granola on top of Greek yogurt with fruit. I also like uncle Sam flakes the same way but add just a drizzle of honey to that mix. My other fave is steel cut oats, 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon. I make it ahead and then just add the applesauce/cinnamon before warming…

I love steel cut oats. I make up a pan full, then just portion it out every day. I add 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce and cinnamon. Never thought to add in PB2!! I'm gonna have to try that!

Peanut butter. Sounds dumb but I didn't think it was THAT bad. Tortillas, too.
-
Yum, thanks!

I am SO doing this. I have a whole head of cauliflower in my fridge! Thanks! Off to look for the shrimp recipe.

My husband will LITERALLY leave work early if he knows this is on the table. He calls it "Maple Goodness." LOL Maple Glazed Pork Chops I use lean, boneless center cut chops or just a pork tenderloion. I also double the recipe since this only makes 2 servings. Ingredients: 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/4 teaspoon…

The last piece of german chocolate cake from my hubby's birthday.

I'm in the middle of it. SUCH a great book!!

When I workout early in the morning (5am), I love to have Shakeology with a banana in it for breakfast. If it's later in the day, I try to do a mix of protein with some carbs. Toast with natural peanut butter, greek yogurt with fruit, etc.

I am! My faith is definitely a big part of my own health and fitness journey. Feel free to add me, too. :) (I can't post here without mentioning that some of my very biggest fans/supporters along the way have been people who do not share my faith. I'm just as grateful for their cheers and love.)

I used to not be able to run around the block. I was about 200 pounds when I started and I just took it slow. I did it at my own pace, and sometimes I repeated the weeks. It is probably the most empowering thing I've ever done for myself. The day that I went from an 8 minute run to a 20 minute run? I'll never, ever forget…
