you are now getting into a psychological discussion many people take vitamins as a result of advertising, feelings of safety and that stuff..... I feel more comfortable knowing I have taken my multi but I know that in reality it isnt a cure all but I take it anyway
-
for a very large number of people that would be extremely difficult to accomplish if not impossible on a regular basis
-
I dont think the solution has ever been a secret. Today's society is NOW NOW NOW. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables is the way to go but how many fresh fruit and vegetable stands are available as opposed to Mcdonalds and Burger King? I agree with your premise, but the reality is what it is.
-
maybe not, but very soon your body will start eating your muscle mass for fuel and depleting it's stores of micronutrients including calcium very silly thing to voluntarily do to yourself
-
I would love it if everyone ate better and there was no need for supplements of any kind. But that just ins't the world we live in
-
true but until then.................
-
considering the cost of a multi vitamin (CHEAP) and the fact that many days people eat poorly, I see no compelling reason not to take one
-
I came here to count calories and track my macro percentages

it is a short term team contest...they are trying to win, while they are trying to lose weight and change their life, the number one thing is it is a short term contest and teams always do things that wouldnt be considered during the off season (like skipping pizza)

got enough judges in my life dont need another one good luck though
-
not to derail this thread, but the idea of a 30 minute feeding window has been debunked and unless it is convenient to load up at that time, it isn't needed
-
I would too IF I have the available calories and if I still need some fat to hit my daily macro target
-
whether you need to quit or not I dont know but if you want to quit and get migraines that is most likely caffeine withdrawal you can either cut back slowly and adapt or take excederin (has caffeine with aspirin) or take caffeine pills (jet alert at wal mart) or switch to black coffee (my choice)
-
I dont know....maybe....probably but I will go with the powder rather than going without the extra grams of protein when I need it
-
I use the powder to get protein more as a convenience mainly and as a lower calorie option to increase total protein without other macros getting into the mix
-
just amazing
-
obviously that is all the toxins leaving the body through the mouth duh
-
that when people lose any amount of weight, they also automatically become qualified marriage counselors, fitness instructors, nutritionists and are able to immediately diagnose eating disorders based on a stranger's single statement
-
not really...you can go into starvation "mode" and not die...you just screw your body up
-
make yourself look in a mirror as you drink it and ask yourself if it is worth it
-
that even whack jobs, super hyper sensitive people and total loons also want to lose weight
-
if serious, answer is no a true fast is zero calories to give the body a total break from digestion 24 hours is plenty
-
OP did not ask about strength exercise nor about building muscle so back off
-
ugghhh too long...too boring and definetely not for a beginner to yoga or fitness (IMO) I strongly believe in P90X but it is not for someone who hasn't at least easily burned through 30 DS
-
four days is too long for ANYBODY if you care about your health 24 hours is fine and maybe 36 hours but 4 days is dangerous, not needed and should not even be considered
-
walking is also fantastic and is free
