Where do you live in Canada? RN's are paid very well here in SK. Would you be willing to relocate and gain some experience?

I'd suggest the Canon s90, or something similar. I'm a photographer, and this is what I carry- it's an amazing little camera, and lets you have creative control if need be. There's no use in rushing out to buy an expensive DSLR, only to have to lug it around and only use it in auto mode (which I see so many people doing…

Ice cream is a weakness of mine too- I like to enjoy it in moderation. That being said, I've tried some really delicious chocolate yogurts and tonight I enjoyed a cup of Skinny Cow Cookies & Cream at 150 for the cup.

Soy milk, sometimes stevia

Wow - if that isn't a wake up call I don't know what is.

If I were you, I'd take the time to slow down and let my body heal itself. Drink lots of water, use a neti pot if you have one, and get lots of sleep. Your body is going to thank you for it! You'll have plenty of time to work out next week when you're feeling 100%

 This!

Hi Jeff - a standing desk sounds really interesting... wish I had one of those at work! I've heard of people sitting on the big exercise balls at their desks to strengthen their core muscles. Maybe this is something you could try?

Start drinking water - ASAP!

Edible, yes. Satisfying, no.

Nothing wrong with a coffee date in my opinion! Have fun!

I'd also skip the dried chickpeas- a can goes for about $1.25, and is well worth the convenience! You can also pick up tahini from middle eastern/ethnic food stores for much, much less than in the supermarket or health food store.

I agree. They will warp into funny shapes. Treat yourself to some new ones in the proper size.

Guacamole is pretty easy - sometimes I mash it and add a little taco seasoning.

Me too. Even gum.

Ummm.. remind yourself that it's 2011. We now know all of the health concerns related to smoking. You need to tell her that she needs to smoke outside, not only for the baby's health but for all of you. There is no reason why she should expect to be allowed to smoke in your home. I am an ex-smoker, and would find no…

I agree with paying an entry fee. This way, the person who wins will have a bunch of cash to splurge on clothes for their new figure!

I've lost 9 pounds so far, and haven't noticed a difference in inches. For me, the number on the scale is what motivates me; a tape measure would only discourage me. I'd be sure to invest in a decent digital! I have a Weight Watchers scale that I love, but it costs more than $20.

A girl at work has been drinking the slim fast with skim milk every day for breakfast and lunch with an apple each time. She has lost quite a bit of weight, but I can't wrap my head around why she would 'torture' herself with liquid meals, rather than just eating something healthy instead. If I were you, I'd focus on…

Your story made my day! I'm a die hard thong fan and would be totally uncomfortable in anything else.

This ^^ :drinker:

Yes! I'd take an even bigger cut to be able to do that!

Don't be scared of the soup- it's wonderful! Another Thai option is Tom Yum- a hot and sour soup.

I'd say take the scale- you don't have to advertise to anyone that you packed it.
