Agree! I'm 60 and have lost 50+ lbs over the last 2 years. I'm hypothyroid too. FINALLY something sustainable. I log my food ahead too. I usually plan the week, which helps me with my grocery list, then tweak my log as needed.

I got a larger base, heavier duty scale just for this purpose (I still use the light one for everyday). I also have a notepad on my phone of empty pot weights. I also noticed the nutritional/macro numbers changing. Last night I logged a stir fry recipe and it had an incredibly high sodium number. Went back to the recipe to check it and it looked ok.
