What is the fitness thing (or diet thing or life thing) that you can't live without? I have two.. I can't live without running. BUT I can't run without my Garmin Forerunner I love the runner's high. It's a feeling like no other. :love: I'm usually training and need the garmin to help me keep track of my pace.

BB2- I agree the alchohol adds up. One BLL is 110 calores x4 and I've had a meal that consists of nothing but beer. YIKES! I always tell people i run for the beer! No really, i try to run at least 25 miles a week to make up for my drinking binge. :drinker:

I went to Dallas for Superbowl....need i say more. BUT on the upside. I didn't gain, but I sure didnt track anything. Today is a new day. Let's see if I can get it together. My birthday is in two weeks!!

@ BB: Wow that sounds like my kind of week/weekend! :happy: I hope I can hold out until Super Bowl Sunday.......... It's so cold this week which makes it hard to get motivated to move and burn off calories. I live in TX so anytihng below 50 is freezing. it's 35 for the high...:grumble:

i ran my first full marathon last year. I never even did the tempo training but i almost always completed the long runs. i had an injury to my foot and missed the 20 mile run which is the longest run in training and a month b4 the big day. i did fine on the marathon. missing one run doesnt make or break you. you'll be fine.
