Update from yesterday: Added 20 km of varied terrain with 10+ load on my rear rack. Lots of exploring new places, ended up updating Google Maps because of unmarked trails. Decided to drive to work today because my legs need some recovery after that afternoon ride.

From my commute home. Both images are from locations that are on my regular route (Image 1 is a detour, but close enough). Yesterday, however, I took a massive detour and went exploring along the lake shore. Should have taken pictures, but my ride was long enough without unnecessary stopping.

I did know that. Did you know it is believed that Shakespeare was 46 around the time that the King James Version of the Bible was written. In Psalms 46, the 46th word from the first word is shake and the 46th word from the last word is spear.

Bring some pepper spray and use it on all of the nay-sayers.

Kitty does not approve.

I think I'll join in on this. I'm not giving myself a goal, but just to ride. Progress to date:

Eat the whole thing. Most of the nutrients in an egg are in the yolk.

'Roids.

Yup. That's scary-close. I've had a bus pas me that closely before!

I think it's more the latter. You will very, very rarely witness someone slowing down to go behind another vehicle of any sort, to make it to their destination. Everyone seems to have an "I need to get where I'm going before you" mentality. People will go faster to get around someone, rather than slow down and go behind…

Just drag and drop the image into the text box.

Everyone should definitely always be careful, but you only have control over what you are doing to prevent yourself from getting killed. That guy was an idiot and doing that is a death wish. Sucks to hear what happened, but when you ride at night without lights, in all black, getting killed should be expected. ETA: This…

In general, from my experience, the smaller the produce is, the more flavourful it is. However, food from the garden would taste better because it ripened on the plant instead of in a box. This alone makes it taste infinitely better. As for organic vs. non-organic. It's mostly marketing hype. There is no nutritional…

YOUR 1000TH POST! CONGRATULATIONS! I'm also down for drinking all of the lager.

There is no White Castle up here in Canada. Lot of McDonalds and I got a booklet of coupons in the mail yesterday. Should I go get some? Has anyone tired the McDonald's Cleanse? What were your results?

DO NOT run every day if you are not a runner. This will easily lead to injury. Damn, why are the forums full of stupid today!?

I like to use Endomondo. I find it's the most versatile and most accurate GPS tracking app. It also syncs with MFP.

I have to report that I am very disappointed that the cleanse didn't work. I didn't even need to spend 2 minutes on the toilet. I think I should go ask for a refund.

Wow. Worst suggestions I've seen in a long time (except for the "do not enlist now" one. That's great.) Don't do a simple meal plan or restrictive diet fad. Also, don't enlist for The Biggest Loser unless you want a lifetime of chronic injuries and PTSD. Completely ignore what had previously been said and head over to this…

All of the flags going on in this thread. I'll take the real cheese cake, thank you. New York FTW!

So what do you do when the ingredients and therefore nutritional content of a verified item changes? It will no longer be verified, but MFP will say it's verified...

My buddy lives down a dirt road that doesn't get full winter service. He owns a couple of Impreza Wagons and never had any issue. An Outback has higher ride height and may be more useful. A Forester is definitely larger with more ground clearance for sure. On any road that is maintained at all, 4x4 is definitely overkill.…

Does anyone use the Strava app for navigating? How good it is?

Yet there are other diet plans that tell you to eat 6 meals a day for the same results. This is why everyone says it's silly.
