HAHA! Me too

I'm curious about this as well. My issue with the BodyMedia is that you have to pay a monthly subscription, do you do this with FitBit? This has been what's keeping me from investing in a tracker. My company supplies me with one but it doesn't sync up to MFP and it only tracks steps/distance/time. Personally, if I'm going…

We have friends in Sweden and UK that Larp and make custom chain mail! I don't Larp but my husband and I are getting into Cosplay... His Stormtrooper armor us complete, just fine tuning it to fit him better and I'm working on my seriously lacking sewing skills so I can start my Nightsister costume. Star Wars *****es!!

/bump I had something similar happen a couple of years ago and the bump is still there. I'd like to hear people's answers to this one.

Every morning (after my workout) I turn mine into a meal replacement shake. 1 Banana 1 cup of mixed frozen fruit (peaches, strawberries and pineapple) 1 handful of blueberries 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder a few shakes of flax seed and about a cup of water (add more if needed for consistency) I feel like I'm…

Thanks everyone!

Ugh! I'm here for 4 more hours... and my only day fof next week is Christmas Day... and I'm the only one here in my department and all of the other departments are having Christmas Potlucks and parties and stuff.... Feeling left out doesn't make for a very productive day :ohwell:
-
I will definitely keep up my routine! I have to work Christmas Eve and the day after, so I don't see any need in making any changes there. My Tuesday mornings are an at home day anyways, so I can do my business in the living room in between bastings of that Turkey!

You make me smile.

I have 2 really horrible words for you... Squats and Lunges! My legs have ALWAYS rubbed together, even when I was 115 lbs (I'm 5'9") but even at my heaviest, when my trainer had me doing vast amounts of squats and lunges I started to get a thigh gap. It's really not about losing any fat there as much as it is toning up the…

Not regularly. But if there is a day coming up where I KNOW I'm going to indulge (like Christmas!!) I will make sure to get a good long run in before hand so I don't have to feel guilty about eating some sweets. I also find that if I get in a good work out, I'm less likely to indulge because I can still feel the effects of…

^^This. My husband drives for work (and plays a lot of video games) and gets in grown hairs on his patoot. Might want to get that checked out before it gets infected.

You absolutely can as long as you include them into your Macros. I keep a few in my freezer at home and a few at work for in a pinch. I stopped eating them regularly after a couple of months because I started to get major heart burn. Stopped eating them and voilal! all gone. I usually get by on leftover dinner for lunch…

Do you have access to a fridge at work? I blend my Breakfast (banana, frozen berries, chocolate protein powder, flax seed and water) a little thick in the morning and take it to work. By the time I'm ready for it, it's watered down a little and drinkable. I would also call around to your local health food stores…

I read this and without thinking took the cheese I packed for today out of my lunch bag. Addict much! I still eat it, but in very small quantities. I have a small piece (about the size of the end of my thumb) packed for today. I would definitely feel like I was depriving myself if I gave up my fancy cheese... I just had to…

I do kind of a hybrid. I have breakfast in the morning (either before I leave for work or as soon as I get there) and pack my lunch and snacks for the day, making sure they fit into my daily calories, and dinner's either already cooking or defrosting waiting for when I get home. I have my little lunch bag sitting here and…

Me too! Especially after I move (I used to move about once a year). I personally feel that you owe it to yourself to be honest and accurate. If your scale was bumped and is no longer accurate, of course you should recalibrate it. If you happened to gain 3 lbs during your move (which is perfectly normal, your routine was…

My husband can eat WHATEVER he wants... so I usually take a cookie or brownie or whatever home, let him eat it and I get a bite or two. It helps keep me in line and I don't feel like I'm missing out (and don't hurt anyone's feelings if they made it themselves). I also bring lots of low cal snacks to work with me so if I…

I always feel great about 6 weeks to several months after my dosage is upped, then I start feeling the symptoms again. If you're feeling good now, great! But keep track of how you're feeling and don't be afraid to call your Dr. 6 months from now and ask to have your levels tested again.

I usually "gain" anywhere from 3 to 6 lbs when I'm PMSing... I sometimes tell myself that it will go away in a week but it usually doesn't. It also doesn't help that I'm in the middle of an emotional tail spin too when this happens. Listen to your husband, don't beat yourself up over something that's out of your control.…

I know you're asking about cereal (I would eat it 3 times a day if I could!) but have you thought about grabbing protein shakes instead? You can whip them up pretty quickly, make them as sweet as you like (with fruit and flavored powders) and drink them in the car. I've been doing this for a few weeks now and it's amazing…

I would make it just as personal as the gifts themselves, and it also would depend on the age, etc of the receiver. My family has a habit of giving small really random stocking stuffers, here's some examples: Breathe right strips (I have a habit of not working out in the spring time and blaming it on my allergies/not being…

I log C2K5 at my average speed for 30 minutes. Not sure if this is accurate but I don't eat back all of my calories anyways so it's okay for me. I also have Runtastic and it works great when I'm out on the street, but I am on the treadmill for the winter and it doesn't work so well when it's sitting on the machine.…

I'm in the same boat, I have a protein shake (banana, frozen berries, protein powder, flax seed and water) on work out mornings and an apple with my lunch and I ALWAYS go over the sugar macro... I am allowed one under 40 calorie chocolate after dinner and that's the only sugary thing I eat all day so I turned off the sugar…

I kept trying to convince myself that as long as I counted my alcohol as part of my diary that I wold be fine. I would have a glass of wine after dinner most nights. I stopped doing this and started losing weight again. This is what worked for ME. I would suggest trying it for yourself. If you stop drinking and start…

^^This My husband's grandmother also had Gastric bypass and she has serious **cough** tummy **cough** troubles now and her docs say it's because of the malabsorption caused by the surgery. Yes she is older and yes she had the surgery a LONG time ago, but it's still something to consider.
-
I'm blessed enough to have never had to consider this, but I have 2 women in my family who have with 2 very different stories. I have a 20 something year old cousin who found it too difficult to eat healthy and work out, so she had lapband. She continued to eat the way she did pre-surgery and refused to work out because "I…

No no no.... You have to use Abuelita! So fricking good! But seriously... I love hot chocolate! So I found a very special (store brand) of coffee that tastes like it. I feel like I'm getting a special treat every morning.

I'm 5'9", some might not consider me "tall" but my husband is 5'4", so I tend to stand out. I didn't mind my height when I was thinner/healthier, but now I feel not "tall" but "big". I don't like feeling big. I've been slouching for years, but not anymore! I HATE having constant back pain because I'm always bending over.…

This question cannot be answered to easily. It depends on the food. Mexican food?... Tapatio. Asian food?.... Sriracha. Breakfast?... fresh salsa or Cholula. Hot Wings?... Franks Red Hot hands down! My husband is all about the Tobasco though. We're kind of condiment *kitten*... the door to our fridge is more full than the…
