I was just married in August... Hope I still count! Here is mine, family heirloom on my husband's side: Sorry, can't make it any bigger. But it has shooting stars!

Here's a list to the Road Map. Good luck!! I sweat too much to work out on my lunch break, and we are a "scent free workplace" so I can't even use any body spray after! (p.s. I'm jealous that you can) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12

A few years ago when I first started watching what I eat, I bought The Biggest Loser scale simply becuase I believed that the name meant quality. Well fortunately, it did in this case! It does everything that everyone above recommends but is pretty compact so I can tuck it away when I'm not using it.

I'm trying this one this weekend: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/835818-coconut-muffin-100-cal

Technically... I weigh myself every day. But ONLY because my company has us all enrolled in a fitness program where we earn points by doing certain things every day and weighing ourselves on their specific scale is one of those things. I try to only record my weight on MFP once a week, or every pound.

Oh how I miss a good craft beer. When I first started MFP I realized that I was drinking about a quarter of my calories every day. At first, I cut out beer altogether. Then I realized that I was actually craving it! Not the alcohol aspect, just the deliciousness of it. Now, when planning a nite out, one of my restaurant…

This seriously kicks my butt. I run 3 days a week and do strength training 3 days, my husband got this for me to keep things interesting. I do this on days when I only have 30 minutes (instead of my usual hour) to devote to myself.

For the lazy (and American! lol) 1 Tbsp Coconut flour (I used Let's Do Organic) 5 tsp skimmed milk (roughly) 1 medium egg white 1/4 tsp baking powder 1tsp sweetener

There you go! I started a new medication yesterday and I almost passed out during my work out because it had my heart beating so fast. Today, I waited until I was done working out to take it and didn't have that problem. Maybe try taking it at a different time and see if that helps.

I never thought I'd have to tell anybody this, but I encountered it this morning. Use headphones!! I do not want to hear your music or listen to you singing along at the top of your lungs! This is what happened this morning: Creeper walks in with his PSP, playing Tool so loud that when he settles 4 treadmills down I can…

I do this! It is really great to come home to the house smelling of lovely cooking dinner. I got my ideas here: http://whoneedsacape.com/2012/11/crockpot-freezer-cooking/ They're not all winners, and I'm still learning how to modify things on my own. But its super time saving and really helps the old wallet!

Do you know for sure if you're up? I told myself I was going to gain a few pounds ( I was hosting AND cooking ) since I gained 3 at Thanksgiving. I humbly stepped on the scale yesterday morning.. and I was down a pound. Don't beat yourself up until you know for sure.

Okay, I'm in! I'm 29 yo and 5'9" (I also have Hypothyroidism... super fun times!) CW 192 VGW 180 UGW 150 I have my other measurements but they're at home and I'm not :flowerforyou:

Okay, balanced lunches... I usually bring left overs from my balanced dinner lol Half of the portion size I had for dinner is usually right for lunch. I keep Healthy Ones turkey breast and Sandwich Thins in the house just in case for a quick sandwich in a pinch. I always throw in little baggies of carrots, cherub tomatoes…

ooooo thanks for this one! I try not to put all of my calories burned in my journal so I don't feel like I don't eat them all back (most, just not all) so I estimated at 200 this morning... But by logging Circuit Training it was more! Good to know

I haven't completely given it up, but I have Hashimoto's so I need all the help I can get. I used to drink heavily and then I was down to a glass of wine a night. Now I'm limiting myself to special occasions only and even then only 2 max. It seems to be helping me so I'm going to stick to it.

I do most of this; trim ends, cut in half, toss with EVOO, garlic, onion powder and parsley and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes (added some rough chopped pecans for Christmas dinner). I'll also saute some fresh garlic and onion and throw the sprouts in the mix, put the lid on, let them brown a little bit, squeeze some…

Brussels Sprouts!!

I was literally just about to post this. It's really annoying when you're trying to get in the zone and you can hear someone's conversation over your own headphones. Also, if your gym doesn't have a day care, please leave your children at home. If you absolutely HAVE to bring your kids with you, try to find a low traffic…

This is what I do. Seems to be working fine so far.
-
I have not, but my husband's cousin did and met his wife on the plane!

I just got this one for Christmas! Only used it twice but so far it works really well. You blend it right in a to go cup but I would never use it because it has the blades in it. Not sure if this is common for this type of thing or not but it makes me uncomfortable. :ohwell:

Especially shortly after the New Year. Some people spend a ton of money on their resolutions and give up a couple of months in. Also check out your local used sports store (Play It Again Sports is what they're called around here).

Especially a good bowl of Chicken Tortilla soup.....

I was super stoked on the Striiv too but they only have an iPhone app and not Android. Killed that idea real quick.

Thank you so much! He is new to me and definitely not up on anything new. You should have heard the dribble he was spouting! All about how T3 supplement doesn't really do anything and he doesn't find it necessary. In the end though, he agreed to add Cytomel as I was on it a few years ago and felt the best I've ever felt.…

Any way I can! My favorite snack is to slice it up with some Tapatio and lime juice. So good! As a meal, there's a restaurant near me that takes a whole avocado, slices it in half and removes the pit and then fills the middle with a bay shrimp salad (bay shrimp, a little bit of mayo, lemon juice, cilantro, celery, onion…

I am a serious snack-a-holic! For me personally, it's 90% mental. I'm bored so I grab a snack. I'm upset so I grab a snack. I pack my lunches every day for work and include one morning and one afternoon snack. Today it's an apple and leftover chicken meatballs from yesterday (Yummy and only 30 calories each!) but I know…

^^ This. Also, if you have a really dirty diet, you might have some withdrawal symptoms. Before I started eating clean(er) I at a lot of fast food and easy meals like hamburger helper and rice-a-roni. My first couple of weeks were rough. :blushing: It's been a few years for me and now just the smell of McDonald's or KFC…
