Hi all, I just started level 1 as well - itd be great to hear how everyone is getting on! I do like the jillian-rotation system idea - hardcore though!
-
hopefully this fixes it

Thnaks - no problem; Before the 30ds I was about 132lbs, waist = 27.5” and thighs almost 22” After 30ds I was about 127.5lbs, waist about 26” and thighs about 20.75 Now I'm about 126lbs, waist 25.5”and thighs 20.5” As I say, not huge measurable differences but I do feel a lot better. BTW if anyone knows how to make these…

Today I'll stay on track so that on friday I can take my Ripped in 30 "after" photos!

Mine are here - http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/504688-30ds-completed-can-you-see-a-difference No huge weight loss but I did feel more toned and much better. Just started level 4 of ripped in 30 and still improving :)

Same here! Im told that my body is keen to keep that extra 10lbs in case i get hurt or pregnant or theres a famine . Listen up body - you cannot have them! We'll be just fine without them!

Thanks both, i appreciate your advice and I know you're both right. I suspect I need to take a step back more often and absolutley learn to ask for help. I know I'm rubbish at that - I seem to think that any form of confrontation (like explaining that Im not getting the help I need) is the worst thing in the world and must…

Yup Im on week 3 as well - loving it while getting my *kitten* kicked.

Hi all, I just started week 3 of RI30 (did the shred twice before that). I know that the first day on a new level is always hard by - wow, I think Jillian personally hates me!
-
Hi, I did 2 rounds of the shred and am now about to start week 3 of ripped in 30. I'm LOVING Jillians workouts and seeing such quick results! Slightly afraid of level 3 - how did anyone else get on?
-
viannee - you have beautiful lips!

cheekbones (a.k.a deep set eyes)

Bump for motivation!

Thanks Maureenec! I agree that MFP is a bit over optimisitic! I shall indeed try to be patient and maybe try upping my weights or something to kick my body out of its comfort zone!

Bump!

I felt the same way last night when I started level 2 of ripped in 30! A combo of mountain climbers and plank jacks in the cardio section meant I had to stop for a break for the first time in ages. I was really disappointed in myself till I realised that level 2 of the shred did exactly the same to me – all those plank…

Wow - looks like its really not possible :(

Everyone slips up sometimes - it sounds like you two have a great supportive attitutde for each other - stick with it! It's great to hear of couples who are keeping each other on track x

Hi all, I;m about to finish my second round of 30DS and it looks like NMTZ may be then best of Jillians DVDs to try next. Can anyone let me know a bit about what it includes? Mainly cardio? More weights? Thanks!

Hi there, I'm officially aiming at 1200 but I usually try to earn another 300 ish to eat back through execrise. Uusally. Breatfast = cereal with SS milk. Morning snack = carrots or clementines or banana. Lunch = home made vegetable soup afternoon snack (whatever I see when I get home) Dinner = meat veg and carbs evening…
-
Thanks everyone - I'm still working on it AND I've replaced the ironing board cover too ;)
-
Good Luck - you'll do great!
-
Go for it! When I started I hadnt done any proper execrise in years. Jillian does kick your *kitten* to start with but I found that I improved really quickly which was great for my confidence. I'm currently half way through round 2 :) p.s. I hate Level 2 as well!
-
Level 3 is hard but once I got used to it I found it easier and much more fun than level 2 - good luck!
