  • I'm currently 132lbs - aiming for 125lbs but gosh those last few lbs are slow to go :(
  • Thanks all - I appreciate the feedback. I definately feel better and I'm glad I did the 30 days but it's good to hear theres been a noticeable change too :)
  • Good luck! I'm on day 22 today and determined to complete all 30. I wasn't huge to start with so I dont expect astounding weight or inches lost but I certainly feel better.
  • Same happened to me - 2 days after I started the 30ds I gained 3lbs and theyve stayed for 3 weeks so far! I'm led to believe that its my muscles retaining water as theyre not used to being used but it so discourgaing as I was loosing weight so so slowly to begin with!
  • I agree with all of the above - stick with it! After day 1 I could barely walk but I'm on day 20 today! You'll be amazed at how quickly you adapt to it.
  • Aww hon I feel your pain. I also hurt mine around day 12-13. Its just swollen I think but as I walk a lot each day to and from work (about 4 miles a day all told) it'smaking a very slow recovery. I was seriously upset with the idea of stopping the shred when I was feeling so proud of myself. Instead I'm still doing it but…
  • I'm on day 19 (L2 D9) today ( I've skipped a few days as I've managed to develop sore swollen ankles. Havent seen much physics change yet (gained a few lbs but I'm not V concerned about that) but I do feel stronger. Heres hoping level 3 will yield some physical results!
  • I'm on day 18 and am loving it - amnt seeing weight loss but am feeling better and am DEFINATELY more toned - good luck x
  • Yup I'm 5'4" currently about 133lbs I think a bit less % body fat. I’m mid way through the 30 day shred so if I get notable results (assuming I manage to finish it!) then I'll maybe be brave and post some before and after pics. Before I started it I cut my cals down to 1200 but weight loss was v slow (and I quite often…
  • I totally agree - the first couple of days at level 1 wiped me out but after 10 days I could happily do the whole thing (well maybe not the proper push ups) and was feeling V proud of myself. I have now done 2 days at level 2 and am hobbling like an old-age pensioner but I'm certainly better than I was yesterday (when I…
  • Thanks for the reminder. For the past few months I’ve been slowly loosing weight mainly by reducing my calories. 12 days ago I stated the 30 Day shred and although I go feel more toned and better all round (and I know muscle is heavier than fat) it has been SO depressing to see the scales rise. I’ve gained 3 lbs since I…
  • Thanks everyone - this is very reassuring stuff! Now just to make sure I stick it out so I can take "after" measurments!
  • Thanks all - I'm not too bothered about the scale shifting - I'm just glad I remebered to take "before" measurements so I can track if there is a change. Certainly feeling like I've had a good workout though!
  • I totally agree - I'm only on day 3 and I've already noticed an improvemnt (day 1 I thought I'd die, today I'm not close to death at all  ).
  • I drink hot water with lemon juice, honey and ground ginger in the morning. I’m told that it kick-starts your metabolism – all I know is that it wakes me up and tastes nice 
  • I am absolutely with you - I’m hoping to loose about 10 more lbs and tone up. If I’m putting all this effort into loosing weight I want to look as nice as possible and that means no more wobbly thighs! Now, just to get over the gym fear and ask for help devising a plan! Any suggestions for a 30-60min gym plan for all round…
  • Hi! MFP also gave me a target of 1200 - I guess youre already quite small? I find that if I am on or below 1200 for a too long in a row I stop seeing weight loss but so long as I now and again break that up with days where I go over (which isnt hard esp. at weeekends!) then I'm fine. Hope this helps!

  • What a relief to read such a mix of opinions! It turns out that real ladies aren’t all 5’10” and 110lbs! I’m currently at 132lbs. My high was 139lbs and I’m aiming at 126lbs as I’ve been there before and felt/looked healthy.
  • count me in! 5ft4", CW=134, gw= 125lbs, 26yrs
  • Good thought but he's currently at the "I want it to happen but don't want to take responsability to MAKE it happen" stage :(
  • Hi there – fab progress you do indeed look great! I'm also 5'4" and currently 136lbs aiming for 125lbs then min 115lbs. I was wondering how long it took you to loose the weight as I’m being very good with my food an exercise at the moment and am stuck in a plateau! Thanks!
  • I'm a newbie too - currently stuck at 136lbs (from 140lbs) but hoping for 125lbs (then eventaully 115-120lbs).
